TW: Swearing, very small insignificant mention of blood
A/N: I am very sorry for my inability to write the Dromies; also not very important but to avoid confusion: i hc Sean as enby, so i write characters referring to them as they/them. (And milliot is A4A)
This chapter goes out to @ImaStarUvU/@boringLem ! Thanks for being patient with me <33
****(Liam's P.O.V)
The past week has been really peculiar.
On a personal level, Liam now had a new-found, mysterious immunity to garlic since the 'incident' the week prior. In fact, he was starting to really crave garlic bread (damn it, Henry's food habits were starting to rub off on him...).
On every other level, Drew was acting very strangely.
He was acting...nicer? Was that the right word? Yeah, he was acting nicer than usual- mainly to the music club.
For example, he didn't even bother acknowledging Austin and her brother on Monday, even though he would usually call them names or something; and, on Tuesday, she waved him good morning (he did; however, ignore her and look the opposite way).
Then, on Wednesday, whilst they were all hanging out at his house, he suddenly got a call from her!
And now, this!
"YOU WANT US TO WHAT!?" Henriam (as they've come to call themselves) yelled at the same time.
Liam crossed his arms, "Dude, you can't seriously expect us to hang out with them,"
"Yeah, dude, you want us to hang out with the music freaks?!" Henry pointed towards the music club's lunch table.
"Don't...call them that," the magenta-haired closed his eyes and sighed, Liam had a sudden feeling of déjà vu.
They looked at each other then back at him, not believing what they'd just heard; Drew had just defended the music club. And, shockingly, Liam wasn't all too surprised he did, and he had a feeling Henry wasn't either.
Henry spoke up first, "Why are you suddenly acting all friendly to them?"
"What?"
"C'mon, we've noticed you being all buddy-buddy with that Hailey girl," Liam smirked, "Something going on between you two~?"
That almost certainly wasn't it, he knew Drew was way too loyal to Zoey- but it was still a possibility! (No, not it wasn't, he was just trying to justify his impulsive decision to say that in any way, and he knew it).
"Ugh, Liam! What is wrong with you!?"
"For fuck's sake, Liam, I have a girlfriend," Drew rolled his eyes and groaned, "It's nothing like that! We're simply, er, making a truce, temporarily."
"A truce?" Liam grabbed his bottle of red-blood (Don't. Ask.) and took a sip from it, sensing that would be an interesting story.
"What do you mean?" lettuce-brain grabbed his pack of gummy bears, probably for the same reason as him.
"We've decided to, uh, stop fighting for the time being, for Jake's sake," the magenta-haired looked off to the side, clearly trying to avoid their gaze, "As for tomorrow, they have 'emergency' rehearsals, and we had plans at the same time, so Hailey and I decided that we'd go over to her house. We'll watch them during rehearsals, then we take Jake, and leave."
A moment of silence fell upon them, that was then promptly broken by Henriam yelling in unison.
"THAT'S IT?!" they exclaimed in disappointment.
