[first night in toronto with her besties]

madelaine scoped the club as her, lila, jamie and lexie - there 2 toronto friends walked in.

"we are getting wasted!!!!!!" lila screamed to the group as they all walked to the bar. the three other girls laughed as they ordered.

"let's dane!" lexie said pulling mads onto the floor. the other two grabbed the drinks and grabbed a table. dancing queen started to play, and like everybody else- they started to scream the lyrics. after a busy day of shoots and travel, this was exactly what was needed.

"YOU ARE THE DANCING QUEEN !!! YOUNG AND SWEET, ONLY SEVENTEEN" they and everybody screamed at the top of their lungs. once the song ended, they found their two friends and did the shots that were ordered. another song came on but they weren't feeling it. instead they swayed to the beat at the table. gossiping and what not. it was going great until lila noticed a particular blonde in her side vision. she instantly started blushing, knowing exactly who it was.

"oh fuck-- that's William nylander." she said alerting the group and pointing him out. he was at the bar ordering it seemed like a lot of drinks before walking off. lila thought he looked good. the two had been messaging each other on insta for a few weeks since he followed her, but they hadn't spoken at all for the past few days. she was a little hurt that he didn't respond to her last dm but she shrugged it off. there would be other guys.

as luck would have it, lexie and lila were being pulled onto the floor by two incredibly gorgeous guys. they began dancing to pon de replay by rihanna, apparently, it was a y2k night. which the girls loved.

it didn't take long until William noticed the blonde on the floor with somebody that was not him. he had seen that she was in Toronto for work but hadn't messaged her. he hadn't messaged her for a few days due to being busy but he wasn't sure where their messages would take them. he was conflicted as to keep messaging or just try with somebody else here. but seeing her- was a wake-up call. he didn't want her with anyone else. he whipped out his phone and messaged her, hoping she would see it. he was way too stunned to actually walk up to her.

"oh wait- toronto won tonight. that's why they are probably out. i see mitch marner, morgan reilly, obviously William nylander, alexander kerfoot and auston matthews." jamie said pointing to who was who to madeleine. she knew the three amigos, but nobody else. "nice." madelaine said nonchalantly and looked at her phone. she smiled because dylan and alex were hanging tonight and were sending her snapchats of their evening.

"you're really in love, huh?" jamie smirked sipping the other drink she ordered.

madelaine sighed, "I'm not gonna lie- i don't know yet. yes, alex and i have a lot of history and some of it wasn't always so great. especially how we broke things off. a part of me is scared to jump back in. even with my brother's approval but like still, a part of me is like 'should i not try at all' and date somebody else." she said honestly to jamie. she hadn't even told lila that let alone alex.
