"Ughhhhhhhhhhhh I'm tired _____ chann," Oikawa whined while falling down onto the floor in a dramatic fashion. Both of you just finished a 1 hour practice match against Karasuno, it was short but really intense. You looked down at him and shot a look,

"Gee _____ chan why do you always have to look so dissed off all the time?"

You looked away from him and sighed heavily then went away to help clean up the gym, "Y'KNOW," Oikawa shouted after you, "I CAN JUST LEAVE YOU ALONEEE!"

You looked back at him and gave Oikawa a grimace implying that you wouldn't mind if he left you alone for a few minutes... hours... heck even days. Maybe some peace and quiet would help you hang on to your remaining sanity. While thinking these somewhat happy thoughts you wrapped up the net, and mopped the gym floors. By the time you were done you went to the bench to pack up your stuff. Not noticing Oikawa's absence you just grabbed your bag and trotted out the door...

In the next few days you noticed it has been strangely quiet.. Too quiet, there hasn't been that small giggle every few minutes, nor that familiar sent of ros- You stopped yourself, why were you thinking about what he smelled like? It's been a week more or less, you don't know, you haven't been keeping track. You're becoming more and more concerned, did he go on vacation Hospitalized? Kidnapped? Not taking this anymore you decided to ask Iwazumi about it,

"Hm? What do you need _____?" Iwa asked you; you briefly explained how you're becoming concerned about Oikawa's absence. "Oh sorry _____ but i don't know anything about that."

So after school you decided to take this into your own hands, as soon as the ball rang you sprinted out the door, into the hallway, down the steps to get to your bike. You unlocked the chain holding your bike got on and peddled as fast as you could towards Oikawa's house. Once you got there you bust open the gate and spammed the doorbell until someone answered it. In the next few seconds someone opened the door.

"Hey _____ cha- (a-a-achoo) what are you doing he-"

He didn't even get to finish you just pounced on him and tackled him to the ground. You buried your head into his chest, there was that familiar rose scent. When Oikawa asked what was wrong you sat up and stared to mumble incoherent words.

"Hmph seems like you can't last a week without me after all," he snickered. After a brief moment you gave an explanation on how you thought something bad happened to him while he was gone.

"Well," Oikawa said a bit sheepishly, "does coming down with a cold count?"

You smiled at him, not your usual grimance but instead a pure genuine smile, it made him get a little flustered. You got up and helped Oikawa get up too, you turned about to leave but he grabbed your hand (you felt your heart give a slight flutter). You turned back at him and he was smiling too, he then asked you to come inside with him. A fuzzy feeling made you a bit disoriented so you just agreed to come in. He basically dragged you through the house into his room and plopped you onto the bed. He went away for a bit and came back with a blanket he wrapped it around you,

"Sorry it's a bit cold in here, my fault for getting sick I guess," he then wrapped a blanket around himself and sat next to you, his head on your shoulder. By this point your heart was racing faster than the speed of light (if that was possible). After a while you felt Oikawa's slow and steady breathing, you felt a bit more relaxed probably drowsing off too.

After a few hours which felt like minutes, you woke up to warm air brushing the top of your head, you opened your eyes and looked up Oikawa's head was nuzzled into your hair his arms were wrapped tightly around your waist, the rose scent was still lingering. The two blankets on top of both of you made you feel a bit light-headed. You were worried about if anyone found about this this could damage your reputation (along with your personal pride), but that's a problem for future you to worry about (〃ω〃)
