"This place is fucking crazy. I slept on the couch and I think it was the best sleep of my life." Harrys nonstop voice filled the kitchen, carrying through the sound of the tv. He was talking to Greg, Val's dad over breakfast on just about everything his little mind could muster. I poked around the food on my plate, attempting to close my eyes and block out Harrys voice from my head.

The sound of Harry singing in the shower was what woke me up in the morning. His voice was loud enough to get through the stream of the shower and the door to wake me up and he was careless about it. I picked out that it was Rooms on fire by Stevie nicks, an almost perfect song for him. The familiarity that came with it was nice enough that when I stepped in the bathroom to get myself ready, I caught myself not fully bothered by his voice. That didn't mean I wasn't annoyed with him waking me up, though. I ignored him anytime he tried to engage in conversation with me, the playful and flirty stares he sent me through the mirror and brushes against my back just to get a reaction from me.

Everything he did was just a reminder of what we did last night. I didn't regret kissing him in the slightest bit, but I am glad we didn't have sex. It was spur of the moment and regular thinking Aphrodite wouldn't have let him pin me against the wall and have her like that, even if I was the one still in control by the end of it. She would've been the one doing the pinning and definitely not enjoying it the other way around.

Valerie was looking at me across the table like she knew of something, making subtle glances between Harry and I. I knew what she was implying but the shook of the head and glares wasn't enough to convince her.

"So Harry, you are going to the beach with us today correct? Along with the annual dinner?" Joanne asks, thankfully not noticing me slump down into my seat with the question. The annual beach-dinner was just hell in a meal form. I've never been to one nor wanted to, but the stories I've gotten from the rest of them was enough confirmation that I wouldn't be going to one.

Perking up in my seat I take a small sip of water. "Oh, I was actually thinking about taking him to the town today. Don't think we'll have time, sorry." I cut in, placing my hand on top of Harry's on the table. He shoots me a devilish grin, turning his hand around to hold mine. "I think we can do both, can't we Cher?" He not so innocently asks, sending me a pout. I turn to everyone else and let out a grimace. It was enough to know I wasn't going to win this debate.
