A/N: SPOILERS: To explain a little bit, Tanjiro and co will not fight lower moon 5 Rui, instead they'll fight lower moon 2 and 3. Also, they'll fight the old lower rank 6 as well. So all in all Muzan does not get a chance to eliminate the rest of the lower moons as he did canonically.

The other Hashira felt physical relief when they realized that whatever issues Sanemi had with you were resolved and all of you were getting along. Now, you and Sanemi just aggressively flirted instead of actually fighting which is much better.

"Are you going to stay on the ground all day?" You rolled your eyes at Sanemi who always managed to find you and, bother you.

"You would like that wouldn't you." You blew a raspberry before getting up off the ground. You were about to say something else when your crow came and landed on your shoulder.

"Caw! Caw! Solo Mission for Y/N L/N! Caw! Caw! Children going missing by Natagumo Mountain! Caw! Caw!" You nodded giving it scratches as it flew off somewhere. You then turned to Sanemi who grinned snarkily at you.

"Don't miss me too much." You started poking him dodging his attacking hands.

"That's my line." With that said you took off to the mountains. It was about a day away from here if you're lucky. Well, you're going to take a train to save up on your energy. There was no need to speed run, a train will get you there faster. In about an hour, you made it to the train station, bought your ticket, and waited for its arrival. You had bought 3 bento boxes and water, the train ride was roughly 8 hours. At least the train has a bathroom. You had eaten your first bento box before getting on the train. Once on the train, you found a comfortable window seat near the back of the cart. You were tall so didn't want to bring unnecessary attention to yourself even though it couldn't be helped most times.

"Excuse me miss, is it okay if my son sits here?" You turned to see who on Earth decided to sit back here when you saw a woman with about 5 children she wanted to keep together. Your attitude changed as you nodded watching her place the little boy beside you. You looked behind you and, saw that the entire train was packed while you were daydreaming. Halfway through the ride you ate your second bento box, went to the bathroom, and came back to your seat. It was another 4 hours when you felt a weight on your lap. You looked down and saw the boy was out cold. You saw the mom about to get him but, you stopped her.

"It's okay ma'am. I won't be going anywhere." After a couple more reassurances she let the two of you be and, you decided to take a nap as well. You rested your head against the class and let the rocking of the train lull you to sleep.

When you came to again it was to the conductor announcing you had made it to your stop. The little boy and his mother were gone already so you quickly grabbed your stuff and exited the train before the doors closed. You stretched once outside and, the nice cool crisp air was good on the skin. The sun had already set which was perfect for you. You looked at your last bento and ate it since it was mostly sushi. You also had the last bit of water and walked casually needing to digest your food and water. You also needed to figure out the demon's tracks. You needed to know what kind of demon it was. Was it all children? Was it a specific age group? What the hell was it? You were too busy thinking and walking not noticing the woman trying to wave you down.

"Hello! Would you like to rest? You look like you've had a long day out?" You turned to see a kind-looking woman, older, waving you down from a cozy little inn. You were going to go to a wisteria house but, you can just rest here then. You nodded entering the inn and paying her for a room which she gratefully took. She showed you a room and, it was quite big and cozy. You heard one more patron but, opt to try and rest a bit. It seemed there was no activity so you might as well stop and think of a plan. You started talking with the owner and found out from the lady that the children were coming from orphanages.
