-Kitachi's POV-

For the past week all we've been doing are D ranked missions because our teamwork has been horrible lately.I mean, I can blame some of it on me, I'm slowly pushing myself away from the others so it can be easier for me to leave and I can tell Kakashi is starting to get suspicious, well more than he already was.

I feel terrible for doing this to my village, my friends, and to Kakashi who I consider my older brother.Today I was going to talk to Kakashi about what's going to happen, but once I got home he wasn't there. At that moment guilt filled me faster than you could fill a glass of water. I decided to go see the Hokage instead and tell him everything that I know of, so I won't be a rogue and I'd have a chance to come back in case.

-Time Skip-

After I talked to the Hokage I decided to go eat ramen, so I went to Ichiraku and saw the whole team except me eating there. Heck even Kakashi and Sasuke was there. I stared at them from afar and frowned, I quickly left before they realized I was there, with a sad expression.

'Why didn't they tell me they were going to eat at Ichiraku's? Even Sasuke was there! Do they really not care about me....?' I thought to myself as I went to eat dango's with tea instead.

Upset was not even the word to describe how I was feeling, I was pissed off and disappointed at them. 'Maybe I shouldn't have distanced myself.. I can distance myself after the Chunnin Exams..' I thought to myself while drinking my tea calmly. After a good 20 minutes, I heard Sakura's and Naruto's loud voices coming towards the dango shop I was in. "Kakashi-Sensei, why isn't Kitachi-chan here with us?" I heard Naruto's voice before I saw him from the window. I saw Kakashi sigh before he answered a couple seconds after. "We can't trust her. She is the daughter of Madara Uchiha after all, and you all know how he turned out.". I looked down at my hands and frowned, Kakashi thinks I'm like my dad, that I'm not trust-worthy and a cold-blooded killer. Granted, I did sneak off to train those 2 nights, and also after we had our bell test.. But thats what even Sasuke does too. If my own sensei can't trust me, why am I in the team anyway?

With that thought being made, I signaled the dango lady over and asked her to put them in a bag, and paid her the amount the tea and dangos were before leaving the dango shop. I tried not to get my team to see me, but that was a failed plan when I heard Naruto call out my name. I turned around and raised my visible eyebrow. "Hi Naruto." I replied mustering up a little smile at my possible cousin. "Are you coming to the ice cream stand with us, oh and why weren't you at Ichiraku's earlier! I thought Kakashi-sensei told you about it!" Naruto asked with a wide grin, while Sakura nodded and Kakashi and Sasuke just continued glaring at me. "Sorry Naruto.. Maybe another time. It seems that Kakashi-sensei believes I'm untrustworthy, so obviously I'm the problem for teamwork. Ja ne." I replied and started to walk back to the Hokage tower. All while hearing Naruto shout at Kakashi about something, though I was too far away to hear it now.

Once I arrived at the Hokage's office once again I politely knocked before opening the door when he yelled to come in. I sheepishly smiled at him before walking in and shutting the door. "Sorry to come back twice in a day Hokage-sama. This time though I'd like to request if I can leave Team 7. Kakashi believes I am untrustworthy, and me being in tte same team as Sasuke is affecting our teamwork." I explained to the Hokage who "hmm'd". "That is a good point Kitachi. I knew this would happen at a certain point, that is also part of why I had made you a Jounin. Not only are you a prodigy like your late-father, but Team 7 was very unbalanced. Sorry that this happened. I will allow you to leave Team 7. Obviously you'll need a new place, luckily for you Sasuke refused the place of heir to the Uchiha's. You are an Uchiha princess in terms, so the heir is to you anyway. If you need anything Kitachi, you know I'm here. And please once you leave, come see me before." The Hokage smiled at me sadly before crossing out my name on Team 7, handing me the key and a map to my new house. "Thank you Hokage-sama, you are a grandfather I never had. I am glad to have you" I smiled at him and walked out of the office and started walking to the Uchiha compound after I had grabbed all my stuff from Kakashi's. Obviously that also meant running back into Team 7. Naruto looked at the map and the key in my hand before looking back at me. "Are you moving to a new place?" I smiled and nodded. "I'm the true heir of the Uchiha clan, so it is only right for me to move into the compound. Oh, and Kakashi. I'll let the Hokage give you the news." I said then looked at Sasuke glaring at me. "What's wrong little-cousin." I questioned. "You don't deserve to be the heir of the Uchiha! You're weak and nothing but talk!" he yelled at me, I narrowed my eye's at him. "Well. You're going to be glad at the news you'll get tomorrow then. Ja ne, and Naruto you should come hang out with me some day. The doors to my compound is always opened for you." I stated and then walked away, continuing towards the Uchiha compound.

Once I got there, it was dark and silent. Quite obviously abandoned, everything was dusty and I knew I'd have a lot of work to do. But that was for tomorrow, for now I needed to find the original clan head house. It took me a while, but I found it, Sasuke is going to be pissed when he finds out I'm going to stay in his past house. I smirked to myself.

--- Time Skip---

It had taken me the entire night, to clean the clan head house. It was clean and spotless like it used to be, I even got the lights to work again along with all the other electrical stuff that was in the huge house. I looked at the time that was on the clock of the microwave ;5:23AM. Sounds like a good time for me to go to sleep. I walked down the hallways to the biggest room that belonged to Sasuke's father. I had alresdy moved all my stuff here and cleaned the bed sheets and everything. I sighed contently and removed my armour which I perched on a metal dummy for that exact purpose, and threw my clothes in my clothes bin before changing in my pj's and removing my mask and bandages along with my headband. Feeling the room was slightly too hot I opened the window and got into bed. I nuzzled in the comfy bed when I smelled my dad's perfume before I saw him. I looked beside my bed where the window I had opened a couple minutes before, and saw my dad leaning on the wall casually. I grinned and sat up quickly. "I see you moved into the Uchiha house, and even managed to restore it, good job kiddo." Madara said, chuckling. "I left Team 7, Kakashi doesn't trust me at all anymore so I thought why would I even bother I'm already a Jounin anyway." I replied, smiling tiredly. Madara smiled softly before he walked over to my side and kissed my forhead. "Goodnight Kitachi, I'll be back tomorrow night." He said before his clone poof'd away, I smiled before turning on my side and going to sleep.
