I stared at the Hokage in shoke after hearing him promote me to Jonin."I..I..U-uh...Uuhm yeah!Thanks!"I had a hard time finding words to reply when I walked up to him."Thanks,Lord Hokage."I said bowing down and grabbing the flak jacket and putting it on,under my armour.I looked at the Hokage and I smiled.Not those small,ghostly smile I usually do,I made my first sincere smile I've ever made and hugged him.He seemed to be shocked but hugged me back.I guess he was like the grandfather I never had..
I pulled back and smiled."I should go,the team is waiting for me."I said turning around and leaving towards the door."Okay,be careful Kitachi!"The Hokage said before I closed the door.I stopped walking after I closed the door,I stared at the view of the village that I could see and sighed.I shook my head and teleported in my room and grabbed my things for the C-rank quickly.My clothes,extra armour,katana,kunai's,shurikens and other stuff like bandages.I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder and teleported to the gate next to Tazuna,just to scare him.I smirked when he fell on the ground,hand over his heart.
