The player thought long and hard about this, they knew what they had to do but it was hard to except.
*.......I-....I know what I can do... but I don't want to do it... it's the only thing I can do.
Player turned around to the soul in the middle of the black infinite looking space. They start walking towards it and hold there hand out...
"...what do you think your doing~?"
Suddenly the player is pushed backwards onto the ground, chara towering above them. *...
"Tch you think I'm just gonna let you take the soul like that? Not without a fig-" Chara was caught off guard when the player was suddenly at the soul they were "protecting". The player grabbed the soul and darted away from chara. "HEY, I'M MORE DETERMINED THEN YOU THINK! THAT'S WHY I WAS ABLE TO PUSH YOU EARLIER YOU FOOL." Chara dashed to the player, ready to grab them and shove them into the ground... but before that could happen-
*BRWAHHHHHH*
"W-what the... WHAT DID YOU DO!?"
The soul, now gray... floats willingly in the players hand. The player looks back at chara not answering... what they did should not be able to be undone. *Sorry Chara, this is the only solution I can think of.
"YOU- YOUR CRAZY! FRISK! FRISK STOP THEM, DO YOU SEE THIS!?" Frisk stands in the background with a shocked look, not noticeable before but now. Chara stumbles over trying to stop the player but is hit with a seemingly random fatigue... they can barely move, along with frisk.
"Player, what are you doing?!" Frisk asks with a worried face trying to stand up... *... the player doesn't respond, everything feels weaker now, the pressure and overwhelming fatigue disappears but frisk and chara feel weak.. really weak. Chara screams out hoping for a answer, "PLAYER PLEASE! DON'T DO ANYTHING-" Chara cuts themself off, they see now. The player is in pain. The gray soul is glitching, it's not meant to be in the state it is in. Player holds back the pain the best they can as they slowly move there hand to the reset button. "PLA- ACK.." frisk holds on to chara, stopping them before they fall over, they shake there head... telling chara to not try and stop the player as it is too late. Player hesitates... they then press the button.

RESET

Player gasps for air, did they do it? Did they actually do it!?
Th-they were the human now! Instead of frisk or chara I-it's them!

The Player was excited but also felt... weird. They looked down at their soul and noticed the glitch's... the soul was grey, unlike how when chara took control it had a black center of the soul, now the hole soul is just grey.

They noticed this.
Player wanted to see what they came down with, a normal stick? A knife?
...
It seems the world couldn't decide as the item would glitch back and forth from a stick to a knife. This was it. They did it. They can't go back.

The player found themselves feeling... less enthusiastic, now that the soul was grey it felt... out of place. Looking at the soul felt off, thinking felt off... it was all weird. That's when the player was fought off guard by someone watching.

"WHAT THE HELL DID Y O U DO."
Chara can't push the player or do things anymore now that they are out of the save screen.
* I did what I had to.
The player stared blankly at chara, frisk standing by chara not saying anything. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID! THIS ISN'T RIGHT... FRISK SHOULD BE IN CONTROL NOT YOU!" The player found themself feeling more and more blank, the emotions now almost gone... they felt basically nothing.
So this was the price of becoming the fallen human? Was it really worth it.
They didn't know. They didn't care.

"We have to get moving-" They have a text box now. They. Are. Normal.

"Ugh." Flower sighed in frustration, when was frisk gonna be here? It been forever! How long are they going to argue with chara and THEM in that stupid save screen!? Flowey found himself bored but that boredom was easily cured when he heard someone walking. "Aha! Fri-" flowey stopped himself. Looking at the "human".
...
Is this some kind of prank, Tell me the joke here?! What the hell is this...?
The player stood in front of them with the new appearance, now that they are the human... I guess they have to wear a striped sweater for some reason? But... now it's black and white. To fit the rest of them maybe?
"...what did you do..? What did you do to frisk!?" Flower yelled, the player didn't feel anything. "I had to take control for purposes, you should probably move." Flowey didn't get what the player meant for a second but managed to figure it out right before a fire ball hit him, he dug himself underground... not saying a word.

"Hello my child! I am toriel, caretaker of the ruins." Toriel said happily, player only staring.

This will be interesting.
