"When did this start?" Elina asked with her arms crossed. She looked impatient and completly disappointed, but Sana didn't want to bother her daughter any more.

Elina sat down on her own bed, with Tzuyu sitting on her left side and her mother on her right. Elina was uncomfortable, because she could feel her mother exchanging glares with her best friend.

"A couple of weeks ago. Tzuyu and I have found some common interests and we started to explore each other, in ways that none of us had ever experienced." Sana explained and Elina couldn't avoid making a disgusted face. How could her mother act so recklessly, as to getting caught with her girlfriend, by her teenage daughter?

"Why? Why Tzuyu? Mom, she is my best friend!" Elina whined and Sana grabbed Elina's hand. She really needed her daughter to understand that she was in love with Tzuyu and there is no way in the whole world that she would ever stop.

"I never meant to fall in love with your mother, I just did Elina. Sana...I mean Mrs. Minatozaki and I...we don't want to be away from one another. I want her and she wants me. Even if you try to stop us from seeing each other, it won't work." Tzuyu argued and Elina smacked her arm. Why was her best friend talking so much when Elina really just wanted her mother to say something else. "Ouch".

"Mom, what about you and dad? How could you do this to him? I have watched dad be in love with you ever since I learned what is love and how it can change people. How heartbroken do you think he would be when he finds out you were screwing your daughter's best friend?" Elina questioned her and Sana looked at Tzuyu.

"Wait outside, will you? I need to talk to my daughter alone." Sana asked her nicely and Tzuyu nodded her head, getting up and walking towards the exit. When Tzuyu closed the door, Sana stood up and faced Elina.

She got on her knees and held her daughter's hands. Sana was trying really hard to hold her tears in. "I...for as long as I can remember, I have loved your father with all my heart. If I didn't love him, you wouldn't have been born. After you came into this world, I loved you more than I loved him, and he loved you more than he loved me."

"Mom..." Elina whispered sobbing softly, trying to keep herself composed, since her father was still downstairs, probably wondering why they were taking so long.

"Your father and I stopped loving each other a long time ago honey. We stayed together for appearances only. Both of us needed our marriage for the image we displayed to the world. I fell in love with Tzuyu. Yes, at first it was simply sex, lots of it. But then I started to think about her and wondering what she was doing and who she was with. I started praying for her safety and I came to realize that I would rather be dead than to never see her again." Sana felt the tears rolling down her cheek.

"I get it mom. But why did you not tell me anything. If I knew this was more than just affection, I would have supported you. Helped you. I just want you and dad to be happy, even if that means you two have to break up." Elina confessed and Sana allowed herself to succumb to her tears. It took guts for Sana to finally tell Elina the truth.

Many will think that what is going on between Tzuyu and her is simply a physical attraction, but Sana knows they love each other, and to have her daughter understand that, it means the world to her. Sana wished she could get the same support from others once they find out the truth.

"Thank you. I am so sorry I caused you pain. You mean the world to me babygirl." Sana whispered and Elina leaned forward to hug her mother. The two stood there, hugging for the past minute not wanting to let go.

"Does that mean you are a lesbian?" Elina asked and Sana laughed to herself.

"To be honest, all I know right now is that I love Tzuyu. I don't know yet what I define myself as. Maybe one day I will get to tell you the right answer once I find out more about myself." Sana explained and Elina nodded, showing she understood.

"Well, we should go down stairs and give dad and Tzuyu some company, before he thinks something is wrong." Elina whispered and Sana agreed with her.

"I will stay here just for a while." Sana told her and Elina left her alone. Sana stood in front of the mirror hanged on Elina's door for a minute. Part of her wished she could tell Elina of how unhappy Soobin made her feel and how insecure she has been for years, as soobin cheated on her repeatedly. But the other part of her wanted to keep the infidelity history a secret still. It's unfair for Elina to hear the truth about her father from someone else.

After staying in the room for a couple more minutes, Sana decided it was time to return to the dinner. She noticed Elina and Tzuyu were seated apart from each other, having the long silence, while Soobin watched his phone. Sana wished things could stay the same, but they wouldn't. Specially when she has changed a lot.

Sana sat down and joined the conversation. No matter what happens from now on, she just hoped that Elina would never stop loving her.
