Yersinia had come to inform me that our cousin had some form of accident. I for one didn't know how to respond appropriately, since Lues wouldn't be kind to me I honestly wouldn't care too much, however I sure hoped for her to recover soon. My sister seemed different though, concerned and somewhat distant. Yet as I was gonna come to her she held her hand in front of me as a sign to not come closer.

„I'm sorry, you should probably go on with whatever you wanted to do."

„I... I didn't want to do anything."

With a sigh she left fast into her room and closed the door behind her, I could only watch. Of course I became sad to see my older sister acting this way, since we used to be real close. However she only kept shielding herself away from me, making me believe I've done something to hurt her. The same night however I noticed my angry aunts voice roaming through the halls. Curiously yet concerned my feet took me quietly out of my bed and to the door, which I only needed to open slightly. Her and my parents stood in front of the fireplace, everyone had a different expression on their face.

„I cannot believe how you would loose your temper over a mere child's mind, brother! You know very well that she enjoys to play tricks and I have already scolded her, how dare you lay hand on my daughter?!"

„If you had your child better under control then she would not have needed to be harmed. You do not discipline her."

Father looked scary to me in that moment. What did they talk about? My aunt glared at him.

„This was the first and last time I ever visited with her, I swear to you. Shall your kingdom crumble with all that is in it!"

Madly she stomped down the cold brick stairs as I only worriedly watched the scene. Mother had then found me watching from behind my door as she then looked at my father.

„Please consider another conversation with her, my dear."

„Why would I? Am I in the wrong?"

My mother only stayed quiet for a moment as she got in front of him, rightening his collar gently.

„Please."

They looked at each other for a moment, yet to me it seemed so strange. After taking a breath then, father left downstairs as mother came to me, taking me gently in her arms and apologizing for being loud. I held onto her as well.

„What was that about, Mother?"

My worried eyes seemed to hurt her, so she tried to calmly explain in a certain way as she picked me up.

„You see, my love, sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes these mistakes cannot ever be rightened in any way, no matter how hard one tries. An unforgivably unfortunate situation. The only way to move on from there is to understand that one has done the mistake, owing up to it and work on themselves to become a better person."

Gently she sat down on the bed with me while I kept looking at her the whole time she talked.

„Did Father do something like that? Something unforgivably unfortunate?"

„... Perhaps, but he will learn."

A soft smile was on her face, yet she seemed so sad at the same time. It was hard for me not to be worried, even though I tried.
Within a few days Lues-Mareean and our aunt left again. As they did, I couldn't help but wonder that my cousins horns were missing, yet I assumed that this was the accident my sister had told me about the other day. Later on I followed mother into her bedroom where she would sit down in front of a mirror to apply something she introduced me to as to being called „Make-Up". She described it to be something that would let her appear more beautiful.

„But you are already the most wonderful woman I've ever seen!"

She looked at me with a smile.

„Aren't you lovely now."

While she kept applying the make-up I glanced over to one of her lipsticks as I took it in my hands and opened it. It had a deep yet soft red color. I smelled it for a moment only to slightly turn up my nose to it, since I didn't enjoy the scent of it, however it did in fact look quite pretty. My eyes looked up to her.

„Can I be pretty too?"

Mother looked at me a little surprised.

„You would like me to put this on you?"

Excitedly I nodded which had her in somewhat of a chuckle.

„Only a slight bit of it though, yes?"

Happily I agreed as she stared to put a slight bit of the lipstick on my lips, then picked me up on her lap and let me look at myself, asking me if I was agreeing with the result. I was overwhelmed with joy as I thought of myself to look real beautiful. My sister noticed the commotion as she came inside of the room as well, jealous that I got to use the make-up.

„Why does he get it? Boys don't wear make up."

„It is only for a cheering up, darling. You may as well have some on you if you are as desperate."

Yersinia came up to her with a nod. Suddenly I gasped and suggested her to make a „flower princess" out of my sister, to which both of them agreed. My sister had been given a few soft tones on her face, such as pink and orange, then Mother also braided her hair and Yersinia eventually changed her dress and got a flower from her room, then came back to us.

„Look at me, I am Yersinia Flowerrison, and I am here to spread color everywhere on the world~!"

She seemed real happy and proud and had both me and mother laughing slightly. Yet soon, father came into the room as well, seemingly confused. Yersinia posed.

„Look Father, I am The flower princess!"

„Aha, why that is just wonderful."

Then he noticed me a little bit before looking at mother.

„Him too?"

„He asked for it."

„And you would let him, of course."

„Dear, it is only children's play, do not take it too serious, please."

Father only sighed.

„Well I certainly hope their chores won't suffer under the influence of these plays. Especially not his."

With these words he left us there, not knowing how to respond. However I looked down and teared up a bit.

„I disappointed him, right?"

My mother only shook her head and held me close in her arms again. My sister tried to cheer me up as well by telling me that I was pretty. Mother looked towards the door.

„He is way too harsh on you, my love... you may do as you please."
