Leo's house was amazing. It was bigger than my house, and I had my mouth opened in awe. He chuckled when he saw my expression. I closed my mouth blushing slightly.
As we walked up the stone path leading to the stairs, something made me stop. A flash of a little girl giggling and laughing went through my mind as I looked at the front steps of the house. I shook my head. What just happened? I thought to myself. I knew for a fact that the little girl was me, but why did I now have some sort of vision?"You okay?" Leo touched my shoulder gingerly. I looked at him, then nodded my head. He smiled, and took my hand leading me towards the house.
We took off our shoes and walked down a long hall, pictures were lined along the walls. I looked at each one carefully as I passed by it. Then I stopped infront of a photo that I'd never seen before. It was me when I was younger, sitting next to a little boy, who I assumed was Leo. In the photo we were dressed up and we're looking into each other's eyes like a starring contest, but it was much more than that. I put my finger on the frame, and gazed at the younger me. She seemed so happy.
Leo came beside me. "That was the day before you got sick." I looked at his expression from the corner of my eye. He seemed genuinely sad. My heart beat raised to a dangerous level, I couldn't help but feel a small pinch of sadness myself.
He gazed into my eyes, his eyes so glorious I could melt under his gaze. I sighed under my breath, looking down at the ground. This feeling felt so familiar, yet so far from me. It was like watching myself in a movie.
Someone cleared their throat, and I jumped startled. It was a tall man, that looked much older than Leo.
"Hey Rickey!" Leo looked kind of nervous, and laughed slightly.
"Who's your guest?" The man named Rickey asked, sounding slightly annoyed. I assumed it was an older brother, or a cousin.
"You don't remember her!?" Leo gaped at him. I giggled at his facial reaction. He blushed slightly.
Rickey looked at me, his eyes squinted, and then after a couple of seconds they widened in pure shock. "BELLIE BOOP!" He smiled wide and the next thing I knew I was being lifted off my feet and swung around in circles.
I squealed. It was so unexpected that I didn't know what to do. He gently set me to my feet, but I wobbled slightly on the verge of falling. He held my arm to keep steady.
Leo stood silent, but then burst out laughing. Rickey's face flustered slightly.
"I think you knocked daylight out of her." Leo said as I was still trying to see clearly. "She doesn't remember still you know that right?" His tone laced with disappointment.
"Oh shit..." Rickey became flustered. "I'm sorry, that must've been awkward then since its like we're strangers, but I remember you and-" Rickey rambled on in paranoia.
"It's fine." I cut him off mid sentence and had a smile plastered on his face. Something about Rickey made her feel comfortable, like home.
He started to calm down, and sighed in relief. "Let me start over," he held out his hand, "I'm Rickey, Leo's brother." His smile was gentle, and I shook his hand.
"It's nice to meet you." I stated sweetly. He blushed. Leo grabbed my hand and led me away from Rickey.
He brought me to a room that was small, it's walls a light pink, and had two couches that were pure white. He started to tell me about myself from the very beginning. It was all too much. To Handle so suddenly. I guess he wanted to get it over with quickly. I tried my best to process what he was saying.
I suddenly felt myself feel tired. Though he was talking, I started to drift to sleep.
I felt someone pick me up and walk up some stairs. Then I was placed into a bed, with a blanket placed over me.
I opened my eyes slightly Leo stood over me and smiled. "Goodnight Belle, you need to rest it's been a long day." He kissed my forehead.
I felt calm, and fell back into a deep sleep once again. Tomorrow I'll find out again. I thought to myself.
"Remember me." I heard a whisper, but hadn't seen who it belonged to.
A/N- sorry for such a short chapter, it's probablya kinda boring but I promise you the next chapter will be better! ❤️ xoxo
