A/N- Hi! I'm back for #2 XD hope you were able to wait sorry for such a long wait.
Belle's Point of view.
I sighed sadly. Looking through the car window as we drove away from our perfect house. The happy place. I couldn't defend that house, I couldn't do anything! I looked away furiously, I couldn't take another glance or I'd probably fall apart. My emotions started to batter around in my head, it made my head feel like a dagger was stabbing at me.
My mom looked as if we weren't leaving an important place, like this sort of thing happened everyday to us. Well it doesn't. She held a good poker face that no matter how hard I concentrated on her, I couldn't tell how she felt. I used to think my mom was easy to read, but these days she seemed stone cold. I sometimes think she detached her own spirit from her body. To be honest she does it all the time.
"Belle!" mom yelled, which slapping me back into reality. "Hellooooo!"
I looked at her reflection in the review mirror, her eyes met mine. I smiled slightly hiding my madness. How long was she talking? Oh well. "Yeah?" I responded hopelessly. Even if I didn't answer her she'd make me. That was her thing.
"Aren't you excited? We can see new things and have a new...everything." Mom tried to sound chippy I could tell. She gave me that "Come on lighten up a little" look, which wasn't gonna work right now. My mothers satin blue eyes seemed to look like the dark oceans on a stormy night. Was she in denial or something? Her eyes were practically glued to the road. More than usual anyway.
I shook my head at her. I don't understand how she could think I was okay. My life isn't okay. Instead, I push all those thoughts away and took my laptop out of my backpack. Luckily my mom was generous enough to install a wifi hotspot in the car. It was a long ride was her excuse, not that I cared much.
Once my laptop home screen lite up a message popped up. I smile, the first smile in what felt like forever. The message read:
LittleLina: Hey. How's it been. You ok? :( We miss you hun!
BelletheBrave: Miss you too. It sucks, it's like loosing a part of me. I replied slowly.
I felt tears slip down my cheeks, I wipe at them forcefully. Crying isn't the answer. It's for the weak..so I'm told. My mom always said it to me, I never knew why though. Even my brother gets confused as to why a parent would say such things to their own children. I sighed, then focused back onto my messages. Another light blinked indicating yet another message.
LittleLina: Awe, I totally know. This isn't your fault though.
I bit my tongue. Lina was my best friend since....forever, but I don't understand how she'd know how this feels. How it'd feel to leave. Then again I understand how she feels without me. I was like her #1 back up. I was irreplaceable.
"Belle." mom said, grabbing my attention.
I looked up from my keyboard. We were in front of an amazing house......well mansion! It's windows were huge and it was all so beautiful, the color of the it was creme colored. Was this seriously our house? I thought to myself. I just couldn't imagine this being our house, the monarch maybe but not ours. I knew we came from a wealthy family and all but this was amazing. We never usually flaunted our wealth back home. I mean our old home anyway.
I hopped out of the car as my mom gathered the suitcases and boxes. I walked over to grab my stuff but she put her hand up to signal me to look around. I smiled at her, feeling a little better about this move. This could actually be a good point. I opened the door to the house and slowly walked in. It felt.....well nice. Welcoming almost as if someone else were to live here as well.
There was a grand staircase, a beautiful kitchen with so much space it looked like it belonged in a restruant, a huge living room with two huge windows that touched the ceiling to the floor. Most of all it had an indoor and outdoor pool, and a spa! I wanted to faint. This just proved how rich we were.
I walked upstairs, each step echoed throughout the house. Mom told us earlier that the house was already set up just for us. The decor was impressive, everything seemed just right. I didn't dare look at my room yet, it wouldn't feel right unless everyone were here settling down. I was amazed at how this place was so amazing, like when your little and your waiting for the prince.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" A boy's voice carried upstairs. It sounded lost and curious. I waltzed over to the top of the staircase in curiousity. Who could it possibly be? We just moved here.
I looked over the railing and my eyes landed on a charming looking boy. His hair dark brown and bangs that swept across his forehead. My heart stopped, he looked so....cute. His blue jeans fitted in all the right places and he had on a flannel shirt with a white v-neck underneath it. I held my breath afraid he'd notice my stares. I swallowed hard.
"Hi....um who are you?" I asked timidly, my voice trembling slightly.
