I watched my assignment move through her apartment heading towards the kitchen with a smile on her face as music played from the living room.

A chilling smile climbed on my face from my spot in the ceilings air vent as I recalled how I had been assigned to this mission.

Small gust of air came from my punches as they met my opponents chest head on with brutal, vicious force.

I watched as my opponent drop to the floor to evade my punches. With swift movements my opponent brought his leg out to take my legs out from under me.

Seeing his movements I jumped up, when my feet felt the floor of the ring beneath me again I threw a powerful round house kick to my opponent causing him to hit the rings ropes, his body battered and bruised.

After making sure my opponent would stay down I stood up and cracked my neck before giving my opponent a helping hand up before looking out of the ring.

"And that is why you do not question your superiors" I said in a cold tone to the new student assassins that stood watch from the safety outside the boxing ring.

With pale faces the students nodded and scattered across the room to return to their training. I watched as my opponent left to the medical ward before turning my head to see who had called out my name.

My eyes connected with one of the few people I trusted. James Rillor, otherwise known as ice for his liking of taking on missions in the coldest of places.

"Bosses want to talk to you." Ice said his tone clipped signaling it was important.

I gave a nod after taking a quick look at him his dyed white hair, his piercings and strong body that was littered with markings from this business and job.

I made my way towards Ice after jumping from the ring and didn't say anything as I passed him and made my way out of the training room and into the hallway, away from eyes and ears.

Once Ice stepped out into the hallway and the door had clicked shut. I asked.
"For?"

Ice knew what I meant without having to elaborate.

"Assignment."

I gave a nod of my head needing no further explanation.

It's been six weeks since my last assignment because I was put in charge to help train the knew group of future assassins and six weeks is considered a long time for our organization Red Vipers, so it wasn't really surprising.

I knew I would be getting assignment and I got one.

After making our way through the halls in silence. We came across metal doors with a red symbol of two vipers tied together with their heads peeking out of a skull.

Ice stopped and put his hand on my shoulder and a smirk on his face. His earlier serious demeanor gone and back was the arrogant and cocky attitude.

"Hope you don't get killed on your mission." Ice said with amusement clear in his voice and eyes.

Giving him a blank expression I said.

"Hope your crouch feels better."

Ice's eyes darken before he shakes his head and leaves before things could escalate.

After letting out a tiny sigh I knocked on the doors before going in.

Inside was wooden walls and a lush carpet and extravagant book shelves but I ignored all that and made my way to the person sitting behind a big desk in a leather chair. That said person stared at him with a unreadable look.

Their brown eyes blank and blonde hair pulled up into a tight bun without a hair out of place. Their body showed strength just as the air around them showed authority.

I sat in a leather seat that was in front of the desk not portraying any emotion.

"Let's get down to business shall we?" The woman asked.

Apparently a client had come in and asked for a list of people killed. Saying the people on the list had taken a big sum of money from the client and he wanted revenge and thought it would be better to have his revenge through the top assassin organization in the world who have finished almost every mission cleanly and expertly without fail. The red vipers.

I twirled a small knife in my hands as I watched the woman who was on the bottom of the list come out with popcorn in her hands.

The client had asked that we start from the bottom and make our way to the top. Hoping to strike fear into the clients enemies once they heard that their partners were dead.

I silently put the knife in his mouth pirate style then picked up the vent from its place after unscrewing it.

I took the blade from my mouth before throwing it in one swift movement once the assignment put the popcorn down.

I watched as the knife imbedded itself in back of the girls neck causing her to die instantly and to fall forward face first into the popcorn while hitting the coffee table.

I sighed as I jumped from my place in the vent and landing with a silent thud on the carpet before making my way to the body and pulling the knife out.

"Rocoil Dane." I murmured the name of my next assignment as I cleaned my knife free of blood on the back of the body's shirt.
