3.18 riddled

I wake up in the middle of the night and look at Allison as she's sleeping in my hospital room. I sigh and look at the girls.

"Hey, you okay?" Allison asks.

I nod and she closes her eyes again. "I'm gonna take a walk to the NICU." I say getting out of the bed.

"Goodnight." She mutters as she continues sleeping.

I walk out of the room and go to the NICU. I stand in front of the glass and look at Nony.

Flashback
"Lets call him nony." Isaac says looking at me.

"Isn't that more like a grandpas name?" I ask with a frown.

"I like it. It's just a nickname." He smiles.

I look at the tiny baby. "He's just 5 months. How come he has been through so much already." I sigh feeling his tiny fingers.

"Well, technically he's three weeks old. He's been 5 months in the womb." Isaac says looking up at me.

"You know, if you were standing next to me. I'd hit you." I smile.

He smiles. "That's why I'm standing here." He says with a wink.

I smile and look at Nony. "With a big o. Like 'auto' that makes more sense." I say.

"Okay." He says softly.

"He already looks like me." I smile.

"Want to have another soon? I don't want to be outnumbered." He smiles.

I chuckle and look at him. "Not for at least two years." I smile.

He nods and we continue watching Nony.

"Hey." A nurse says walking over to me.

"Hi." I say.

"You wanna go inside and see your son?" She asks.

I nod and she takes me inside. She helps me in a gown and washes my hands. We go to Nony and I look at him.

After an hour Isaac walks over to me. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I ask.

"It's stiles." He says.

I let go of Nony's hand and turn my body to him. "What's wrong with him?" I ask immediately worried.

"He's missing, Alice." He says softly.

I look at him with shock and walk out of the NICU. "He's not here. But he has been. Derek's going to the school and Lydia is with Aiden trying to figure out where he is." He informs me as we walk to the room where Allison is still asleep in the other bed.

I check up on the twins and grab my jacket and shoes. "What are you doing?" Isaac asks blocking my way out.

"I wanna help." I say trying to push him away.

"We can't help. I'm only here to keep you all safe." He says.

"Why? It's stiles. He wouldn't hurt a freaking fly." I sigh trying to push his arm away.

"Listen, I'm not letting you go out there. You still need to be here." Isaac says.

"To what? Pretend like I'm not already healed from a c-section?" I ask.

He sighs and looks at me. "Please." He says softly.

I look at him and roll my eyes turning back into the room. I sit on the bed and we wait a while. Isaac's phone rings and I grab it before he can.

"Oh, they found him." I say jumping off the bed.

"Alice! Calm down!" Isaac says as I run to the elevator.

We get in the elevator and go down. We walk up to Scott and Lydia who hugs me. "Is he okay?" I ask her.

She shakes her head. "I don't know." She says almost crying.

I hug her again and the sheriff walks up to us. "He's sleeping now. And he's just fine. He doesn't remember much. It's a bit like a dream to him. Thank you." He says and he looks at agent McCall during the last two words.

"It was that repellent we sprayed in the coyote den to keep other animals out. I couldn't go near it without my eyes watering. It's just a good thing he mentioned it over the phone." McCall says.

"No, it was more than that. Thank you." Sheriff says.

"It was a lucky connection." McCall says.

"McCall, can you shut up please and accept my sincerest gratitude." Sheriff says.

"Accepted." McCall says and they shake hands.

Melissa sends us all away and I look at Isaac as we walk back to the elevator. We go to the hospital room and he looks at me as I get in the bed.

Allison sits up. "What happened?" She asks.

I frown and Isaac laughs. "Stiles was missing but he's okay." Scott says in the doorway.

She looks at him and smiles. "Hey." He says.

I look at him and he sits next her on the bed. We all go back to sleep except for me. "You okay?" Isaac asks pulling me closer.

I sigh. "I can't sleep." I say softly.

"I know." He says softly.

I lay closer into him and he smiles. "I love you." He whispers.

"I love you more." I whisper back.

The next morning I wake into crying of the girls and Isaac getting off the bed. "Go back to sleep. I'm gonna take them to see Nony." He smiles kissing my head.

I nod and go back to sleep in seconds. Later in the afternoon I walk down into the NICU and look at stiles as he talks to Nony.

"Hey." I smile softly.

He turns to me and smiles. "Hey." He says softly.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I just wanted to see him before I got my MRI." He says still holding Nony's hand.

I walk up next him and grab his other hand. "Well, he really looks like his mom." He whispers as our fingers intertwine.

I look up and he smiles. "That's a good thing." I say softly.

"Is it?" He asks.

I nod and we both look at him. "He does look a bit like..." he starts but the door opens and Isaac walks in.

"Hey." He smiles walking over to me.

I let go of stiles's hand and he steps back letting go of Nony's hand. "Hey." I smile up at Isaac.

"I'm gonna go. Come and see me after?" Stiles asks.

I nod and he leaves taking off his gown. "What's up with him?" Isaac asks.

I shake my head. "I don't know." I say softly.

After an hour Isaac and I step outside the hospital. We spot an electric cable flying around in front of the hospital.

I go to step down the stairs to help a man who got electrocuted. "Alice!" Isaac calls out pushing me away.

I fall back on the stairs but Isaac steps in some water that's been electrified. "No! Isaac!" I call out and Allison grabs me pulling me back.

We watch as Kira stops the cable and I waist no second on running up to Isaac. Derek runs up to me and checks Isaac's pols.

"He isn't breathing." I say softly.
