"Why are they not putting it on the news? The driver was killed. It was not an accident." Kazuma said. He was outside the hospital room, talking to the detectives assigned to that case. It was a neat slit on the driver's neck. They ran tests on the wounds and they found out that the weapon used was made from pure silver.

"We can't just release statements regarding the victim, Kawamura-san. It would be better if you would let us handle this case alone. We will give you updates if your friends need to testify once they wake up." One of the detectives said and then, they left the premises. He sighed in frustration and went back inside the hospital room.

The incident just happened a few hours ago and his friends were in their own hospital room. He thought that it would be safer if they would not let them stay in just one huge space. They still don't know who is the culprit, so they were taking precautionary measures. Riku was staying in Gia's hospital room while Sho was staying in Fuyu's hospital room. He was the one to take care of Lauren. Hokuto and Itsuki got their siblings to take care of them. Any other news was not released aside from the explosion. There were many motives to start with but the three men's guts were telling them that it only happened because of them. He suddenly heard a knock from outside and he stood up from his seat to open the door.

"Young Master, the Mistress is calling for you." It was his personal butler. He turned to look at Lauren who was still unconscious. He asked him if he could make a phone call first and the older one told him that he would wait for him outside.

He made several calls with a few private investigators. He also called Lauren's family regarding the incident. He couldn't bear to drag their other closest friends into the situation. As long as they don't know what is the real reason behind the attack, it would be better for them to keep silent. He temporarily left Lauren under Riku and Sho's care until her family arrived.

"You called for me, Mother." Kazuma greeted his mother with a kiss on the cheeks. His grandparents arrived from the garden and he greeted them as well. He thought they only wanted to talk about business but it turned out they already planned on sending him to another country.

"I will study in Royal University, Grandfather." He appealed but then, he only received an official document from them indicating that he is already enrolled in a prestigious university in one of the countries around Europe.

"I will not leave my friends here, Grandfather. We already talked about this before. Why did you suddenly change your decision? You said you will let me have my own relationship with Lauren. Is it because of her and her family? Tell me. I need an explanation. You can't just exile me like this." He protested but he wasn't able to do anything about that anymore.

He packed his things up and when he was about to leave home, his grandfather told the maids to take the cards and money, even his car keys from him. He gave everything back to them except his phone and important identification cards. He was almost at the gates when he decided to call Riku. After a short while, a black car stopped in front of the gates and he recognized that it was Riku's personal driver. He went inside the car and when he arrived at the hospital, he saw a few men in black, who seemed like they were Sho's bodyguards. When he arrived at Lauren's hospital room, he found it empty. He asked them where she was and Riku told him that her family had already brought her home.

"They said that it will be better for Lauren to stay at home since they don't know if it is already safe for her to stay outside their place." Riku added and he let out a deep sigh. The older one noticed his luggage and he asked him what happened.

"I left home. They enrolled me in a university from another country and I had an argument with my grandfather." He explained while sitting on the couch. Riku gave him a key card and he threw a questioning look.

"Use my apartment for a while. Since you left home, I'm sure your family will also tell the hotel staff to block you from using your apartment." He let out another deep sigh and accepted the key card. Deep inside, he was so thankful that he has friends like them.

When he arrived at Riku's apartment, he tried to call Lauren's family but it wasn't connecting. He checked if he had enough balance to make a call and it was all good. He tried it once again but it was disconnected. He called Sho and the older one broke the news that everyone had already regained their consciousness. He asked about Lauren and Sho said that her family informed him that she was alright.

"Are they trying to break us apart?" He asked himself but his suspicions were already the truth. He asked permission if he could use Riku's laptop and it was granted. He started reaching out to the companies connected to the Kawamura Dynasty until they told him that the projects he was handling were turned over to other people.

On the other hand, Sho was still in the hospital. He looked at Makoto who was already asleep on the couch since both of them decided to take care of Fuyu. She smiled faintly and they talked silently. He didn't really want her to force herself to speak up but she felt like she needed to. After a few kisses and assurance, she told her that before they lost consciousness, she saw someone talking to their driver but she couldn't identify if it was a man or a woman.

"That person was wearing a cap and a mask but he or she wasn't tall. They only have an average height of a human. They were wearing gloves, too. After that, I can't remember anything any more." She whispered and he nodded before leaving a kiss on her forehead.

"You did well, Angel. Do you want to take a rest now?" He asked and she shook her head. She sat up in the hospital bed and he moved closer to her. She rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

She only got a few scratches on her temples and arms. He hugged her gently until he urged her to sleep. She held on his shirt tightly and asked if they could sleep together and he smiled, nodding before tucking her. He wanted to make a few more calls but he decided to drop everything first and focus on her. When he was about to sleep, Makoto woke up. He told him to do a few things for him and he agreed to it.

Makoto went out of the room and asked the bodyguard to stay alert if something happened. He went to Gia's hospital room since Riku was there. He gave Fuyu's recorded statement and everyone in there listened to it. Gia started to remember things because of what they've heard. She was the last one to lose consciousness, so she had a closer look on the person Fuyu was talking about.

"That person was also wearing sunglasses. I remembered the design but I couldn't remember what brand. They were also wearing a gold bangle. They were wearing an all-black outfit but I was still able to see the gold bangle under the black jacket." Gia added but she suddenly stopped talking when she remembered how that person killed the driver.
