Xiao wouldn't let go in the morning either, he only hugged the girl tighter.
"Xiao.. let me go or I'll use my power.." Y/N threatened, getting her hand out. As a result, Xiao pinned her on the bed, inches away from her face.
His hot breath fanned onto her face, her body becoming fragile.
"You will not use your power on me, you creatur-" Xiao stopped himself from talking. He tried teleporting out, but the power of this girl kept him trapped in place.
Her pain filled eyes lingered on his as she faced him.
"I'm a creature? Then I guess this creature will avoid you. My condolences for your future, yaksh-"
"I'm sorry." Xiao muttered, finally being able to move.
"The damage has been done, Xiao. Leave." With a sigh, he left, leaving Venti to come into the room and hug the crying girl.

He was at Wangshu Inn when Aether came to him.
"Rex Lapis is dead!" He announced, along with his companion Paimon nodding as he spoke.
"Rex Lapis? Dead? Then I seek Cloud Retainer..." Xiao carried on the list of adeptis whilst his mind was focused on one girl in particular; Y/N. He felt terrible about what he said to her, truly.
"What about Y/N? Should we tell her?" The yaksha sighed, nodding.
"She is Rex Lapis' sister after all."
They were surprised at the news, but they decided to go to her first.
"How do we find her though?",
Xiao felt that Y/N was calling his name, so he touched the pair's shoulders and teleported them to her, quickly going back afterwards.
They found the girl on the bed crying, talking about Xiao and how he made her feel.
"Y/N!" Paimon yelped. "Are you okay?!" The floating companion panicked.
"N-"
"She's doing okay, don't worry. What did you need?" Venti cut Y/N off.
"Rex Lapis is dead!" Paimon informed, not realising about what effect it would have on her.
"Paimon! You idiot!" Aether rolled his eyes at the floating mushroom.
"Oh- sorry!" Paimon panicked again.
More tears fell out of her eyes at the mention of him.
What did he think of her now? Did he hate her? Is he actually dead?

"You may leave." With a wave of her hand, they were back with Xiao.

Xiao looked at the sunset infront of him, the pink sky turning purple in minutes. He groaned, mad with himself.
"Why did I do that?"
"Yeah, why did you?" Venti chimed in, right next to him.
"Wha-" Xiao's eyes widened. When did he get there? "Lord Barbatos, what are you doing here alone?"
"I'm not alone. She's with me." Xiao sighed and was about to dissappear until he heard her voice.
"I don't care what he says to me, I still wish to be by his side. The voices in my head are ruining my life." Y/N told Verr Goldett.
"Who is this lucky boy, hm?" The owner of the Inn smirked, but on the last step she realised who was there.
Aphrodite also realised, her face had a coat of rosy red.
"Xiao.." She mumbled, looking at the sky.
"We'll leave you both to it." The other two said, going downstairs.
Xiao looked Y/N in the eye, his own eyes flickering down to her lips.
The woman was aware of it, and looked down. Xiao walked to her, grabbing her arm and dragging her back near the plants and front of the railing.
He pinned her arms on each side, and leaned in to her.
"I like you, Y/N." The woman blushed, but leaned in and kissed him.
Xiao, who was surprised but happy, leaned in, cupping her face with his hands.
They leaned away from each other to breath after kissing for what seemed like hours, but was really just two minutes.
"I like you too, no, screw that, I love you." Y/N confirmed, smiling at the yaksha.
Xiao smiled back at her, wanting to kiss her again until they ran out of breath.
"I love you too, darling."
