MAEVE CRESPO wasnt exactly the type of girl who likes to play with barbies and always tries to get boys attention. She knew she was different for a very long time. Ever since a girl named Angela came to her attention. She was the prettiest girl Maeve ever saw. She didn't know what that meant, she just thought it was a weird phase. She thought it was normal.
She would always try to get Angela's attention. Angela and Maeve were best friends at California then she had to leave due to her father and her mothers divorce. Her mother thought it would be a good start to go to Hawkins which she didn't realise it was a living hell and she would have to sacrifice lives just for her to know this deep dark secret.

Once she had moved to Hawkins she met four boys who she wouldn't have thought she would ever hang out with as she was the 'popular girl' back in California. The boys were all so nice to her but one boy in particular stood out to her.
𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿, he was the nicest boy she ever met. He would always let her be the first in line in the cafeteria, let her use his things if she forgot a pencil or something. He was such a gentleman to her and she never saw that in anyone else.
The other boys were just as nice to her except Mike Wheeler. She didn't really understand why he hated her so much in the beginning. Dustin just told her that he hates 'popular girls' and just girls in general as he thinks we are just a waste of time. Then Will went missing. She didn't know who he was but he apparently was apart of the party. Mike didn't accept her into the party but Dustin and Lucas said that we would need someone else in the party as Will has left. Mike thought Maeve was just trying to replace Will but she was never trying to make him think that. They have gotten such a good relationship ever since Eleven left.

Maeve POV:

The girl Mike was obsessed about. The girl who everyone really didn't want to know about. The girl that gave me weird butterflies just like what I use to have with Angela. Shes a strange girl. For some reason I did have a bond with her but not like with Angela like more than best friends. I always protected her, even when she wouldn't talk to any of us for the first time.

When I first saw 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 I was sure I was just imagining something. I never would have thought I could meet such a girl like her. She had a shaved head and wore a hospital gown. The boys especially Lucas didn't think we should have brought her to Mikes house. I was really connected to her once we first made eye contact. I got these strange butterflies I never had before. We had a special bond I don't think she realised it then. Mike was also very fond of her. I've never saw Mike smile over a girl like ever before. For the first time I saw Mike actually except a girl. I knew Mike had feelings for El but I wasn't sure about my feelings.

Mike and I would always fight over the fact that Eleven shouldn't be staying over and Lucas was always on my side when it came to these things. So we said that we should just make Eleven find a safe place in the woods for her. Then shit happened. And now she's gone. I dont know what that thing was but she saved us. I still think about her everyday, where she could be. If she's still alive.
I'm glad Wills ok. We actually met and his super nice. I felt like Will and I had something in common but I didn't quite know what.

Everything was back to how it was or so we all thought. School was back. Wills was back. Mike and I became super close. Dustin was still a dork. And Lucas was still a gentleman. Then she came. The red headed girl. 𝗠𝗮𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘅.
