Tabi - HURRY! BOOST ME UP!!!
Ruv limped over to him, and balanced on his one good back leg. Tabi stood on his head, and reached for the window. Successfully, he got it open, and climbed out into the yard. He turned, and reached down for Ruv. They heard the lady coming closer to the basement.
Tabi - Let me grab your paw, and I'll try to pull you out!
Ruv - But I'm so much bigger than you!!! I'll just pull you back in!
Tabi - WE HAVE TO TRY!!!
Ruv sighed as he reached out. Tabi grabbed hold of his paw, and pulled.
Tabi - START CLIMBING THOSE BOXES MORE!
Ruv - BUT MY HURT LEG.....
Tabi - FORGET ABOUT THAT FOR A MOMENT!!!! HURRY!!!
Ruv hopped to each box on one leg. Knocking some stuff over as he desperately tried to avoid his sprained leg from getting hurt again. Tabi pulled harder as Ruv grabbed the edge of the window with his other front paw. He pulled. He managed to get his body through the narrow rectangular window, when...... obviously his ass got stuck because, yeah.
Ruv - WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN EVERY BLOODY DAY!?!?
Tabi - Because your fat.
Ruv - JUST GET ME THE HELL OUT-
The basement door opened.
Old lady - OH, BABIES!!!! WHERE AAARREEE YOOOUUU!!!
Ruv - TAAAABBBIII!!!!!
Tabi - I'M TRYING!!!!
Tabi pulled, and pulled, and reached into the window, and tried to squish him out. Eventually, they worked it, and Ruv was free. Without hitting his leg on anything at all!
Ruv - WE MADE IT!
They heard the old lady inside gasp as she saw them.
Old lady - NO! BABIES!!!! COME BACK TO ME!!!!
She started racing back up the stairs.
Tabi - We didn't make it quite just yet!!!!! RUN!!!
Ruv limped-ran as Tabi kept pace beside him. They hurried down the street, and didn't stop until they heard the old ladies voice cease. They collapsed at the entrance of an alley.
Ruv - Great. What are we going to do now?
Tabi - We have to work to survive until Sarv's curse wears off.
Ruv - But we had everything with that woman!
Tabi - Yeah, everything but freedom. At least we don't have to worry about food for a while though.
Ruv - Alright....so....what now?
Tabi - I don't know. Let's just-
Voice - OH, LOOK HOW CUUUTTEE!!!!
Tabi - I HAVE AN IDEA. LET'S JUST AVOID EVERY SINGLE PERSON WE CAN!
Ruv - ALRIGHT!
The voice came closer as some crazy girl chased them. They bolted. Ruv was getting better at limp-running as he moved as fast as he could. They turned random directions zig zagging around every person they came across. For the rest of that day, they attempted to figure out where they were going to go, and how they were going to survive. As the hours past, they became hungry and cold as the sun began to set. They sat against a wall of a restaurant.
Tabi - RUUUUVVV!!!! I'M HUUNNGGRRYYYY!!!!
Ruv looked over at the restaurant's dumpster.
Ruv - You know, I think we'll have to do a little dumpster diving.....
