The Beginnings of Azonica

For a few weeks, Azrail and Veronica were a cutesy couple, walking together around the school, holding hands and giving each other adorable nicknames. Every day, the students surrounded their lunch table, watching them feed each other strawberries and message each other saying how Veronica and Azrail were the perfect couple. But in reality, things weren't so perfect after all, Azrail would hang the threat of her life over her head every time she refused to go on dates in favour of just settling in for the night inside her room with a book. she had to comply every time or risk losing everything even if she had a test to study for, even if it was past midnight she would have to meet up with him and do everything he wanted to. 

One day there was an announcement saying there would be a school dance in a week and Azrail made a huge scene in the cafeteria by standing up on the table before getting down on one knee ''Veronica Hertia, you are the glorious and gorgeous sun, a shining light in my life and proof that there are still amazing ladies like you in the world, will you go to the school dance with me?'' She hesitated for dramatic effect and followed the script he gave her ''YES! Oh, come here handsome!'' twirling a prop rose between her fingers, leaping into the air and landing in his arms before hugging him tightly. ''Okay Veronica you can let go now, please? you're suffocating me!'' she pulled out and placed her hands over her mouth and gasped ''Oh babe, I'm sorry I'm just so lucky to be your girlfriend!'' Later that day Veronica was merely washing her hands in the girl's bathroom when Kathlynn Chandler approached her ''Look, I don't know what you have that Azrail finds attractive but girl, you gotta dump him! I can tell you never really loved him, you just go along cause he likes you and you're scared to speak up. I would kill for a chill handsome guy like him, I would throw myself into a volcano and shriek, Oh Azrail my sweet charming prince, won't you save me!'' ''Yeah, well you can have him!'' she stormed out while muttering ''melodramatic choir girls'' under her breath. A few days later was the dance!

Later on at the dance Azrail pulled her to the dance floor and she had to admit he was rather charming, they spun around on the dance floor and he dipped veronica backwards with her in his arms before leading into a kiss until Veronica pushed him away. ''I'm sorry Azrail, I can't lie to everyone anymore, I don't love you at all!'' The Kathys screamed ''YESSSSS!'' and tried to get close but Azrail pushed them away. ''What do you mean you don't love me?'' ''The truth is, I love someone else, I love HIM!'' She pointed towards the table with the punch bowl and the sweet serenading sounds of a violin.
