I called the girls for a sleepover, and just as expected, Megan arrived first. "Hey, K K! Who's ready for,a night of Dr. Pepper, chocolate ice cream, and inspirational gymnastics movies?!" "Hey, Meg," I said "And, to answer your question, me!" As we waited for the others to arrive, we stuffed our faces with pizza rolls. The other girls arrived a little later. We did typical teenage girl sleepover crap. Truth or dare, terrible karaoke, and talked about the Olympic boys. Then, I explained what happened with Lacy. "Ugh, I haven't even met her and I hate her already," said Sadie. "I know, right!" Rosie exclaimed. After we had watched "Stick It" for the tenth time, we all fell asleep. Everything seemed right with the world, and maybe this time it was.
