The creature looked grotesque. It didn't have skin, just a figure of reddish muscle and veins. Its limbs were long and skinny, resembling a street light, but much, much taller. At the top of the 40-foot creature creature was not a head, but two speakers next to each other. One was larger and always faced forward. The other sat just below to the left.

He sat at the top of a tree, watching the creature. Studying it. The larger speaker was looking left to right as it stalked the land, almost as if scanning the area. It was about 30 yards away from him, but he could still hear the trees falling, crunching under the creatures feet.

But that wasn't all he could hear. An eerie, high pitched hum rang in his ears, almost sounding electric. When the branch underneath him gave, he fell to the next one down. He looked up and the creatures big speaker was pointed at him.

Even with just the moon as a source of light, he could see inside the speakers. Hundreds of eyes stared at him. He froze, hoping the creature wouldn't see him. While he was trying not to shake with fear, it stared back at him, unwavering.

After several, antagonizing moments, a noise from the right caught its attention. He could just barely make out a bear down below, about 25 feet from the tree he sat upon. The creature whipped its head so fast, he thought the smaller speaker was going to fall off. It took three strides for the creature to get to the bear.

The bear roared as it was picked up by the creature. Once the bear was level with the smaller speaker, it clawed, kicked and bit the creature hand, to no avail. The smaller speaker shrank before opening wide with a loud scream-like siren.

The force of the siren almost pushed him off the tree, but he clutched the trunk with one hand and grabbed his ear with the other. The wail hadn't stopped, but the bear had gone limp. Once the creature stopped its shriek, it brought the bear to the larger speakers opening. the bear was thrown inside and all he could hear was squelching and crunching of the bears corpse.

It turned towards him again, but he had gone to the other side on the massive trunk, out of the creatures view. He heard the creature start to walk away, and he started to climb down. He went as quickly and as quietly as he could. Once on the ground, he could feel the booms of the creatures feet, a tree fell right next to him.

He looked up and saw the large speaker right next to where he sat a minute ago. He stood at the base of the tree, shedding silent tears. He tried not to breathe too loud, but it was his loud, racing heartbeat he feared most. He kept on hand over his heart and the other on his mouth. He sent a silent prayer up, begging to make it out alive. A howl in the distance made the creature turn around and it trudged away. Once he could see the creature wasn't anywhere near him, he took off in a fast pace towards his car.

As he drove home, he swore to never visit that park again.
