"What does he think of himself? That idiot. I should have known better. That good for nothing son of a-" Alison grumbled in annoyance, cursing and cussing at her ex while kicking the stone she had found while walking aimlessly. Only if she could kick that jerk like that.

"Here I was busy preparing surprise for our anniversary for what, to see him naked with some other girl. I am the foolish one here. I should have caught on when that jerk had started to draw distance between us. I thought that maybe it was because of work load or some shit, why? Because I couldn't imagine he would be cheating on my back that good for nothing moron." it was hard for Alison her tears wouldn't stop falling. She was beyond hurt.

She had really thought that her so - called - boyfriend was under stress and pressure because of work and she had felt guilty that even she didn't have time back then to make it a bit easier to get through it by being there for him so she wanted to make it up on their anniversary but seemed like the joke was on her.

Haha, work load.

That was the moment when she felt like she wasn't naive rather stupid to not see those red flags which were literally shoved onto her face yet she always convinced herself with lame excuses that her so called boyfriend now Ex was indeed caught up in his job. Oh how she wished she wouldn't have trusted him so blindly.

But she was just so blindly in love with him that trusting him was the same. After all the moments they had spent together how could he decide to cheat on her, that was most heart wrenching for her. Millions of questions were looming around her brain - wasn't she enough? How long had he been going behind her back? Had he always been a playboy? And lastly did he really ever love her?

Was there any time when their was relationship true?

Or was he just a jerk who played with girls feelings only to stomp all over them at the end. Alison didn't know how to take it, even though she saw it with her own eyes still the blow was so hard that it was sinking in her mind, painfully slowly while destroying her believe second by second. Her tears were glistening down her cheeks but she didn't bother to wipe them.

Fortunately the road was pretty deserted as it was night time only a few cars passing by once in while but even if it had been broad daylight, she was sure she wouldn't have cared been seen like a mess. Alison was upset, but slowly the anger was taking over. Fuck! she even felt killing Ethan. And why not when that moron was the one at fault. He was the one who ruined what they had. Her mind was at the verge of exploding from all the cursing while loathing her Ex and self - blaming herself along the lines.

She needed to stop it, stop from thinking.

She needed to get off her mind.

And what could have been better then a drink or maybe two or maybe until one would pass out at the very moment when Alison was being so desperate to erase the images of Ethan hovering over some other girl which was literally imprinted in her brain. So she decided to drink her misery away in hopes of her pathetic self feeling better.

She stopped a taxi and told the driver to drop her at the nearest club. She was so going to wasted today. Normally Alison wasn't a girl to drink senselessly but today wasn't any normal day. During the car ride Alison combed her hair which were practically looking like a bird's nest because of all the pull - your - hair - in - frustration she did, and she almost had a heart attack when she saw her reflection in her mini mirror, she was looking horrible if not a walking zombie.

It was fifteen minutes ride before the cab came to an abrupt halt in front of a decent looking club. She sighed at the sight of it, she couldn't believe she was willing to do this reckless act. Because if truth to be told she was never the one to let her emotions take over her mind. She always thought of her as more of a well planned person but here she was losing her mind and breaking her resolve for a guy. Love indeed sucked.

Reluctantly she stepped out of the cab and paid the driver. Turning around after wiping off any remaining traces of tears on her face. Alison stared at the club and decided to have the best night today, with fun and no worries of tomorrow.

"Let's get drunk and forget that bastard." Alison cheered as she walked inside the club.

The club was packed, there was barely left place to dance on the floor while people squeezed up, dancing and showing off their moves to the music which was blasting loudly. The intoxicating environment giving people adrenaline rush. But Alison wasn't much of a dancer so she directly head to the bar counter.

"One vodka shot please." she order while swirling her hair strand around her finger.

"One more." Alison ordered another shot the moment her first one was finished. Soon the other glass was kept in front of her and she didn't waste a time to pick it. Her lips touched the tip of the glass as she gulped it down making her insides burn and getting her all fuzzy.

"Another shot please." she yelled over the noise of loud music so the bartender could hear her. She drummed her fingers lightly on the glass slab as she waited for her drink to be served. She could feel becoming light headed with each drink down her lips. But her break up celebration was just starting.
