The Pillow Fight

Description: This one-shot is an AU where Cassandra didn't leave after the events of the last episode, and you are Eugene's sister (I know; not very original of me). You are stuck on the bottom floor of the castle with Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, and Varian because of stormy conditions outside. I'm not 100% sure this is quite how the scene would actually play out, but it was fun to write, lol. {P.S. In this AU Varian has a crush on you, not Cassandra.}

Warnings: None that I know of, really; except lots of competitive fighting/flirting. 'Cause, you know ;), Varian's competitive, and even if you aren't usually; you are in this one-shot, Lol.

"Is there any sign now at all that the storm is going to let up, _______?" Eugene asked, leaning on his hand with a bored expression on his face.

You sighed. "I doubt anything's changed within the last minute." You told your brother; checking a window anyway as an excuse to do something.

"Come on, guys! I'm sure things will get better soon." Rapunzel said in her usual cheerful way. In any other situation, it would've been encouraging; but she'd been saying that for the past hour.

Cassandra groaned. "Please, give the cheerfulness a break, huh Raps?"

"Yeah, how can you still not be bored?" Varian added. "We've been stuck here for going on six hours."

She giggled. "You forget I was stuck in a tower for eighteen years. This is nothing!"

Pascal, who was sitting on her shoulder, raised a chameleon eyebrow at her; echoing everybody else's thoughts.

She threw her hands up, betraying her frustration. "Okay, this isn't nothing; but hey! When is the next time we are all going to have quality time together by ourselves like this?"

You gave her a look. "Like, literally every day. We're together all the time."

"Yes, but never at night; when there's always fun slu--night party games we can play!" Rapunzel said; choosing not to say the words 'Slumber party' because, with the company she had in the room, pretty much only Pascal would be up for what she would suggest if she used those words.

"Night Party games, Sunshine?" Eugene asked, not buying it.

"I think she means like Truth or Dare and things like that." You explained.

She bounced in her seat, nodding. "Mmm-hmm!"

"IIIII'm not sure about this." He said.

"It'll be fun! There'll be pillow fights and everything!"

Varian subconsciously perked up at the last sentence, a border-line evil smirk going over his face.

"Well, I guess it'll be something to do." Cassandra finally agreed. After she gave up, everyone else's arguments crumbled and they gave in too.

Rapunzel giggled. "Let's start with the game that was already mentioned; Truth or Dare!" She said, as the friends all sat in a circle on the floor. "Eugene, do you wanna start?"

"Okay, let's see... Cass." He said, pointing at her. "Truth or Dare?"

"Ummm, Truth."

"Does it bother you that you are a cold cobra woman?" He asked, keeping as straight of a face as he could.

"Eugene!" Rapunzel scolded.

Cass smirked. "Only about as much as it bothers you that you're a--"

"Cassandra!" Varian interrupted at the last second, making her stop.

"Maybe Truth or Dare isn't quite the game we should play right now." You commented, knowing that if you all continued; it wouldn't get any better as time went on. Even if Cass stopped, you knew your brother.
