Wish - something you hope to have or accomplish

I woke up when my phone ringed. I took my phone and saw a missed call from Seonghwa. When i was about to call him back, a message popped up.

 Hwa<3 

I sent you a link... You should take part of the competition

I sent a message back, greeting him and telling him i'd check it out. The link took me to a page, where i had the opurtunity to sign up for a singing contest. I wasn't sure about signing up so i ended up closing the link and getting out of the bed.

I did my morning routine and went to the kitchen. While making breakfast i put on playlist of songs. After eating i headed back to my room to get dressed for the day. Taking my sportsbag from the floor, i started putting my workout clothes in the bag and also grabbed my waterbottle and shoes so i wouldn't forget them like last time. 

I went to the gym that was closest to my apartment. I had to get an apartment near my brothers company. He told me itś because he needs to be near when me when i will suddenly need help. Even i think that he just wants to keep an eye on me so i won't get in "trouble". His members just make fun of him for being so overprotective of me. 

What Seonghwa doesn't know is that i have ran into few of the members already. By living near the company i have accidentaly met Mingi and Yunho while running earrands. The other pair i have had the pleasure to meet is Wooyoung and San. I was working in a cafe at the time when they came in to buy some coffie.

Even tough i have met four member, they don't know about me being the sister of their eldest member. When i saw them i was respectful and didn't treat them like celebreties. 

I have seen their reality shows and concerts. I know who all the members are and what they are like. Plus Seonghwa talks about them alot. I see how caring and down to earth they are so i feel alright about meeting them. I am just nervous because i think they wont like me for who i am.

While walking torwards the gym, i saw a young boy with his mother. The boy was telling his mother how heś gonna go to sleep tonight wishing for a new toy. The mother held adoring look in her eyes as she looked at the little boy and told the boy to wish torwards the stars so a star can catch his wish and bring it down with them when the sun will rise again. The boy smiled at his mother and said in a happy voice: "I will".

After getting to the gym, i started my workout. I was on the dreadmill and started thinking about the application that my brother sent me. Everything is perfect but i feel scared to mess things up for myself.

When i was walking home i tought about what to wear to the nightshift i have at the pub. I go there to sing every other night. Before i worked as a barista in a cafe where i met Wooyoung and San. I felt alright singing in the pub because it was really quiet and relaxing place to be. The customers were people who wanted to relax after working a long shift. 

I went to change my clothes when i reached home. I put on a black dress and threw a blazer over my shoulders. I did my hair and put on a little bit of makeup. Keeping it natural i started heading to work. While on my way i was thinking what songs to sing. Deciding for my usual song list, i only added one track so the ending song would be different.

I got to the pub 15 min before i needed to start singing. Mina was behind the bar and waved me over.

" Hey Y/N, The boss wants to see you in her office" said Mina, while giving me a smile.

" Thank you, Mina! I'll go and see what she needs me for. You look lovely by the way." I said while walking away from the bar. 

"Thank you Y/N, You too" Mina shouted after me.

Walking in to the bosses office, i could see her sitting at the desk. 

"You wanted to see me Ms.Min ?"

Ms.Min looked up from her table and smiled gesturing me to take a seat.

"Good evening Y/N. I just wanted to let you know that there are some talent scouts here tonight. So when someone is goming to you with a card, you don't have to be scared."

"Thanks for the heads up Ms.Min" i said as i stood up " Anything else?" i added smiling.

"Yes actually. After you get done performing, please come by my office again." said Ms.Min 

"Alright" i agreed and went to get ready. I sill had 5 min so i checked the equipment for any flaws and when i found none i started my performance for the night.

The time went by quickly and it was time for the last song. I chose to sing Here We Are by Jooyoung. 

  When i was walking torwards Ms.Min office a lady stopped me and gave me a card telling me that her company is looking for new talent and i should give it a try when i am sure in my decision.

I took the card and put it in my blazer pocket. When i made it to Ms.Min office, i knocked and entered when i heard a faint "Come in".

"Oh Y/N, did you finish already ?" Ms.Min asked. I pointed at the clock that was hanging on the wall.

"I'm sorry i lost track of time while doing the paperwork. " apologied Ms.Min " I wanted to give you this" taking a envelope out of the desk drawer. 

I took the envelope and said thanks and goodnight to Ms.Min. Before i went home, i went back to the bar to say goodnight to Mina.

When i finally got home, i looked inside the envelope and saw my pay and a little bonus with a note, " This is for the customers that come only when you sing." 

I laughed when i saw the message. and but the money away. Before doing my nightly routine i took out the card from my blazer pocket and put it on my desk. After i was done, i took the card and stood next to the window. Looking outside i saw some stars and the little boy from earlier today came to mind. 

I took my computer and signed myself up for the singing contest. When i finally got to bed, i looked at the stars again and made a wish. 

"Please make my wish come true" i  said as sleep took over me.
