---¶ Ah Young's POV ¶
"Good morning everyone, I won't stay long, just came by to post the list of honor students for this semester," Mr. Kang looked at me with a gloomy expression before exiting the room.
As soon as he left, everyone rushed toward the board and started cheering after seeing their name on the list.
"Ah Young, you've been dropped-" Ha-Na looked at me, horrified.
After hearing this, I felt dizzy as I stumbled to look for my name. Suho and Ha-Na are tied for first place, while the second-
"I got in! Move I have to take a picture of this!" Hyejin giggled as she pushed me aside.
A bunch of our classmates started whispering to each other after seeing Hyejin go up from not being on the list to 2nd place, which has always been my spot since Freshman year.
"Are you alright, Ah Young?" Gong Gyu held my back for support, looking at me with concern.
"Hey, we can talk to Mr. Kang about this, do you want to go now?" He and Ha-Na both lead me to my seat as Suho walked in, coming from the cafeteria.
"Something's not right," Gong Gyu whispered, looking directly at the list.
"I'm going to the restroom, I'll be back," I quickly excused myself from there and went out.

¶ Suho's POV ¶
"Yah, Choi Hyejin," Da Eun raised her voice as she stormed towards the front.
"I don't know what you did, but you better hope you did a great job sweeping your dirty work, because I swear to god, you messed with our Ah Young, I'm never gonna let this one slide," she glared at Hyejin who raised her hand for a slap.
"Where is she?" I asked Ha-Na who was about to leave the room to call a teacher.
"She said she's going to the restroom," I immediately ran out of the classroom to look for her. Only one place I knew she would go to whenever she needed an escape.
Just like I expected, I saw a glimpse of her sitting in a corner, looking up at the sky. Without saying anything, I sat beside her.
The moment she saw me, tears flowed from her eyes uncontrollably.
"I've worked so hard, Suho, but why does it feel like I'll never be good enough?" He muttered, her voice cracking in between sobs.
I pulled away, gently cupping her face with an assuring smile. "You are extremely talented, smart, dare I say the smartest in class. You've worked hard, Ah Young, that's all that matters, and I am so proud of you."
I felt a sharp pain in my chest the moment we locked eyes.
"Thank you, Suho, you have no idea how much that means to me, hearing you say that," she smiled.
I couldn't bear to see her like this, it would be the death of me to see her suffering after everything.
I saw how hard she worked, always trying to please everyone around her, putting pressure upon herself when no one else does.
"Come on, wipe these away. Don't let those two see you like this, if they do, it'll only make them feel as if they've already won." I chuckled, wiping her tears.
I wanted to place a kiss on her forehead so badly, but I couldn't bring myself to do so.
This anxiety is consuming me, thinking she will never feel the same as I do.
"I don't think I can face them and act as if everything's fine, I'm afraid I might lose control of my emotions," she muttered, looking away sheepishly.
"You don't have to," as soon as I said this, she looked at me with a frown.
"I'll be with you, I promise," I assured her. The moment I said this, her face instantly contorted into a smile before hugging me tightly.
"Thank you Suho, you have no idea how much this means to me," she cried, burying her face into my chest.
For a brief moment, I felt the pain in my chest going away as I held her in my arms.
