How long had it been? Emma was nervously pacing the living room area in front of the couch while Amy lounged staring up at her twin. "You're gonna wear a hole in the floor." She joked.

"Why isn't he back yet? It's almost seven!" Emma was always worrying, maybe a little too much, but Amy's hazel eyes fell onto the digital battery-powered clock that sat on the end table next to her. Her arm rested against the arm of the couch while she thought.

"He said it'd be longer than normal, it's raining. He's probably on his way back now. Em, come on, I'm sure he's fine." When Amy stood, Emma paused and crossed her arms. Taking her sister into her arms, Amy tried to comfort Emma but it was obvious that she was far too worried. "We can go look for him?" The rain had lessened so there wasn't much of an excuse for Brand to be taking as long as he was. Plus, Amy hated seeing her twin upset and nervous. She'd kick his ass herself for making Emma worry about him.

"He wouldn't want us to do that..." Always the voice of reason, Emma stared at Amy as the two departed from their hug and stared at each other in silence.

"If he's in trouble he would..." After a few more seconds of staring, the two quickly began prepping themselves for their adventure. If Brand needed their help then he'd want them to come for him. At least, Amy was using that as an excuse. Emma was still uncertain if that was true but she wanted to get out of the cabin so badly that she didn't argue. "Remember, we're not stupid." Gripping the handle of the cabin door, she opened it. A mist blew against their faces but it seemed the rain had stopped for the most part. Just a light dusting and sprinkle in the air.

"He usually walks this way." Emma stepped forward, following the normal path that Brand took, she had watched him from the window countless times. She made sure to step over the wired area that was set as traps to alert them of any visitors. Amy followed after her older sibling with her eyes peeled at the area. The water had subsided quite a lot and was no longer flooded. The twins were unaware that Brand had taken a different path that day. So as they marched onward they arrived at the town much faster than he had earlier that day. "Hawkins." It was said in a whisper as Emma's lips curled into a small smile.

"Hawkins..." Amy confirmed as she stepped up beside her twin, putting her arm around Emma and rubbing her back comfortingly. "Let's see what we can find." Taking the lead, Amy walked forward as Emma trailed behind her. The two walked for quite a while, for the most part, no one seemed to notice them. They stuck to the sidewalk and kept mostly quiet. Emma was too busy taking in the scenery to care if anyone was watching them.

"It's so pretty!" Her smile was wide as she walked the streets with her twin a few steps ahead of her.

"Yeah." Amy wasn't thinking about the sights, she was beginning to worry about Brand. Especially if he returned to the cabin and they were the ones missing. Then he'd be worrying about them and that wasn't the point of their trip. Pausing as she turned a corner, her eyes focused on a familiar area, but it wasn't familiar to her. Closing her eyes, she focused as she let her mind reach out to Brand. Where was he? After a few seconds, she opened her eyes. "He went this way." Emma looked at her twin curiously but followed behind her as they crossed the street. Not many cars were around, as it was getting late, so they safely crossed to the other side. Amy's legs walked hastily toward the front of a building that read 'Family Video'. "I can feel him, he was here." Amy's voice is precise as she has her eyes closed. The energy around the area spoke to her, he was curious but scared. That energy left her feeling even more worried than she had previously been. Maybe Emma was right, something might have happened.

"Let's see if anyone's seen him." Emma gripped the door and stared at the sign on the window. "P-pull?" She took the handle and pulled the metal bar so that the door opened. The two girls entered then and Emma let go of the door as it slowly closed behind her. A bell dinged above them as they entered, startling Emma. The man behind the counter frantically grabbed the magazine he was reading and tucked it underneath the counter.
