"Rancorous fate as many believed so, but the art of falling in love again made me want to believe that the Lifetimes of You and Me are all worth it in the end. But what is end exactly? To someone immortal like me the answer is vague. Literally, unclear."

Raegan shuts his eyes as he closes his journal accompanied by a sigh. The entry today was heavier than usual. The self-realization that took him time to figure out was written in merely minutes. Now he's stuck with nothing to do. — Or was...

"Mr. Tancredi is asking for you" Introducing, Axel Loen. The child Raegan adopted not-so-long ago if you're gonna ask Raegan—but truth is it was 19 years ago. He treats Axel as his younger brother.

Raegan nods in acknowledgement as he leaves the rooftop's ledge where he previously sat as he watched the streets below him.

"I'll be downstairs in a minute." Raegan replies.

Axel gestured an 'okay' sign before closing the door behind him— only to open it again.

"Oh and please don't take too long. You've got papers to sign and meetings to attend." Axel grins.

"And you haven't had breakfast yet" He continues.

"And so am I..." Axel trails.

Raegan shuts his eyes as he attempts to reign in his annoyance through a sigh.

".... Alright, fine! We'll get something to eat after we meet Mr. Tancredi"

Raegan finally gives in and Axel lets out a chortle as he successfully gets free food.

"Again, stop killing time on the ledge. Okay? You're giving me unnecessary stress!" Axel complains for the nth time.

"And again, let me remind you it is nearly impossible for me to kill time because I am immortal and even if I fall off the ledge, it won't kill me. So calm down, will you?"

Raegan furrows his eyebrows as he expresses his frustration.

".... Okay! I'll get the car ready!" Axel says as he hurriedly leaves the scene, not really wanting to hear any more scolding.

Axel has been with Raegan ever since he was a kid. He was an orphan that Raegan found on the abandoned streets near the outskirts of the town. The kid grew to be Raegan's right hand and most trusted companion, he knows everything about Raegan. Literally everything.

Raegan swiftly grabs his journal and pen before leaving the rooftop and going straight to his personal elevator, heading straight to the parking lot.

It didn't take long for them to reach Mr. Tancredi's mansion. You see, that man has been part of Raegan's loyal few. The ones who kept his secret very well. In return for their loyalty despite it not being necessary, Raegan does favors for them out of gratefulness.

"Ah, it's nice to finally meet a familiar face after being overseas for so long..." The old man says as he smiled from ear to ear, evidently delighted upon seeing Raegan.

"Looking good, aren't you?" Raegan cheekily comments.

"Says the man who doesn't age" Mr. Tancredi, also known as Aleric Tancredi says as he chuckles.

"Have a seat" Aleric adds.

"So.. to what do I owe the pleasure of visiting your castle-like mansion?" Raegan starts as he takes a sip of the tea served by one of the maids.
