All Might scurried to his door as Yui's knocks echoed throughout his house. Just as soon as he got home after meeting Deku, he messaged Yui about the situation, which led into a phone call, which led into Yui demanding she come over and insert an encyclopedia into his brain about the treatment process of broken bones. As much as he tried to convince her that his hero training would be enough, it didn't amount to the worry in her voice, so he caved and gave her his address.

Opening the door revealed Yui holding a huge medical bag over her shoulder, red faced and inhaling huge gulps of air. Had she run the entire way here?

"Let's talk in my living room. You seem pretty tired." All Might gestured an invitation into his house, to which she walked past him and sat her bag down on the coffee table and slumped on the couch.

"Thanks." Yui sat for a moment to catch her breath as All Might sat across from her. "Y'know, your house is pretty modest for a top hero."

All Might scratched the back of his head. "I guess you could say that. I never saw the appeal of having an enormous house, especially if I only use it to sleep in."

"That's probably why you're the top hero. That attitude is a breath of fresh air. Especially with assholes like Endeavor."

A chuckle tried to burst its way through his mouth, but fortunately, he was quick enough to catch it. If a rumor of All Might laughing at a joke like that got out, that'd only fuel the obnoxious media who overreacted with their fight. Yui smirked at him with a chuckle of her own—maybe he didn't hide it quick enough. But it was close to impossible to bring himself to care; if the rumor got out, at least it was the truth.

Yui straightened her back. "Enough chitchat. How bad is Deku's arm? Did he take care of it? Please tell me that asshole didn't give Deku an open fracture and I saw the video wrong—"

She stopped as All Might's eyes drooped to his shoes. Not even the training of wearing his hero facade for decades could put a smile on his face when Deku's injured limb and terrified eyes appeared in his mind. "When I chased him into the alleys, it was awful. His broken forearm was so bad you could see his bone, and there were so, so many damn burns on his arm too."

Yui's nose scrunched up. "Who the hell would do that to a kid?" She breathed in deeply. He couldn't blame her for having to hold back anger—heroes were supposed to serve and protect, not torture damn children. Some part of him wanted the rumor that he laughed at that joke to get out. "I swear, if Deku tried to set the bone back in place himself—"

"That's the thing!" His eyes darted back to hers. "When I saw him in the alley, he just had a fracture." Yui lifted her eyebrow. "No burns, no poking-out-bone, no nothing. Just enough swelling and bruising for a fracture." All Might bit his lip; he didn't want to suspect Yui of lying to him, but it wouldn't be the first time, and it explained Izuku's arm.

"Did you heal him?" Yui was silent for a moment. "It's not a bad thing if you did. I'd just like to know so I wouldn't worry so much about the kid," he said. The last thing he wanted was for Yui to think he was mad at her for helping Izuku.

"No, I couldn't have. My quirk can only make more of someone's body. Yeah, maybe I could've healed the muscles, skin, and even the bone if I could do surgery, but there's nothing I can do for burns other than treat them normally. That would take more than just a few days."

All Might nodded. Of course, the only explanation didn't explain everything. Or was it not a big deal? Izuku received much needed help for his arm, and he was even glad it happened. But that didn't soothe the nagging in his gut that something bigger was at play here.

"And I didn't heal him because we haven't talked in a week." Yui turned away from his eyes to the floor, bringing him out of his thoughts. "Not after the night he was shot in the shoulder."
