CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

CRUEL

[SEASON THREE]

"Better now?" she asked her brother, placing another patch on his leg. The boy sighed in relief as she put the last one on his leg. "Fuck...my calves and thighs are aching so bad..." he hissed painfully. His sister nodded in agreement and started to put her own ones on her leg. "This training was hell..." she said, exhausted. "I am just happy we came back with the car." She added. Her brother nodded, letting his body fall on his mattress. "Hehe...there's nowhere better than home."

Arezou smiled amusedly, before looking at the candy box from her brother. "Hey, who gave you actually these candies?" she asked her brother, reaching for the sweet boxes. His eyes widened as he looked at the pink box. "Oh, right!"

As she read the note on the box, she felt a bit confused. "Hi! I'm a fan of yours? Eat this when you get hungry during training... I'm rooting for you? From Aria. Who is Aria, oppa?" she asked him perplexed, but he was in his own dream world, smiling like the sun and blushing. "What should I do? Should I tell Yuna? But what if she gets jealous?"

The girl sweatdropped as she looked at her brother, murmuring about whether he should tell his beloved Yuna or not. "...This boy..." she sighed. Before she could help her brother with his things, a loud knock could be heard. As both Kangs looked up, they saw Bobby standing there with a shoebox and an envelope. "Dom, are you going to use this for the next match?"

"Huh? It's finished already?" her brother said in surprise. "I thought it would take longer..." she said, also surprised. Bobby nodded, holding the shoebox for the boy to take. "Yeah, why don't you test it out?" he suggested. Dom smiled wide, laying an arm around his little sister. "What do you say, sis? A match between you and me?" Sharing the smile, she grinned at him challengingly. "The loser buys the food?"

"Like always."

"Ah, Arezou." Bobby interrupted, giving her the envelope. "Your uncle sent us this."

"Ah...right..." her smile fell as she held the paper in her hands. Her brother looked curiously over her shoulder. "Uncle sent you a letter? Is it for the visit?" At his questions, a dark shadow fell over her eyes. Carefully, she opened the envelope, bringing out the white paper. "A ticket?" Dom said, taken by surprise. The girl didn't say anything, just inspected the ticket intensively. "I didn't know you already chose a day..." Dom whispered disappointed.

"Me neither..."

CRUEL

"What are you looking at?" Arezou asked curiously, peering over Shelly's shoulder at her phone. Shelly sighed exhaustedly, looking at the picture on her Insta. "Oh~ isn't this the picture from Mountains Tea did for you?" Arezou mused playfully. Shelly rolled her eyes, turned off her phone, and looked at the girl with a light blush on her face. "Zou~ don't say it like that! You make it sound like I like him!" the girl wailed.

The girl with dark brown hair shrugged carelessly, leaning her back against the table behind her. "I mean, you do have an interest in him, after all." Shelly snapped her head toward the girl in shock. The green eyes widened and were frightful at the words she just heard. "W-WHAT! No! I like you!" Shelly disagreed. The girl flinched back as Shelly looked at her angrily. "You sure?" Arezou asked unsurely.
