She arrived in Gotham shortly after taking off. Birdy wasn't as fast as Bart or Flash. More so the speed of Wally. Her shoes were still ruined but that wasn't something she concerned herself with. She could run barefoot she had done it before. She was an experiment after all.
Birdy was standing in front of what should have been her childhood home. Wayne Manor. She felt robbed of this childhood. Birdy didn't talk much now that she was older. Being talkative had been beat out of her at a young age. But she was very observant. Weather she trained for that or it was just something she picked up she didn't know.
Taking a deep breath she snuck into the open window on the bottom floor. She had made all the cameras loop so she wouldn't be detected. Birdy sped upstairs after shutting the window. She slowed to a walk when she got to the room.
First she entered Nightwings old room. She knew at this time him and Bruce were on rocky terms at best. So there wasn't much in here to see.
Next she came to Jason's room. Before Jason died he had hidden her away. His intention was to come back for her, his little sister, after the big fight. But he never came back and she was carted off to the reform school at a young age. She loves Jason. He was her favorite brother. He was dead now in this past. He would be back soon just not yet. She sat in his room in the middle of the floor. Knees drawn up to her chest she let a few tears slip before wiping them away and standing. She took no guilt when she took one of his sweaters. She was as wearing his old jacket already might as well ass to the collection. She smiled holding the sweater. Shutting her eyes tight as she felt the need to cry again.
She shook her head before closing the closet door and exiting the room. Closing the door behind her she continued on to Tim's room. He dies pretty early on and she never met him. But he liked tech like she did. Maybe one day when it's safe they can bond over it. But she doubted it. She closed the door with hesitation.
Birdy glanced down the hall before pausing. She knew who's room was down the hall. She wasn't sure that she was ready for it. Her fathers room. Birdy always pictured herself happy with her dad. He would be tuff on her but live her unconditionally. He would train her hard to be the best Robin ever. But instead she became Robin on her own and Damian trained her. Damian wasn't even born yet. The past was strange.
Birdy let out a ragged breath as she moved down the hall towards his room. Stopping outside the master bedroom door she took her time in twisting the knob before throwing it open. She started crying when she saw it. Call her crazy for crying over a room but this was her Dads room. Something she has never seen before. Something she shouldn't be seeing now. She should stay away from them.
Closing the door behind her she jumped on the bed in the middle of the room. Touching the sheets under her finger before flopping down on the pillows. She curled up there on her dads bed and cried. A child robbed of her childhood. A Robin without her Batman. A girl with no one left.

Sometime later her and Bart were standing by the Flash family. She was listening as Bart told her about his day with his grandpa. She swore she saw tears in his eyes he was so happy.
"And then neutron totally felt the mode." Bart told her but that was pretty much the only part she understood. He knew she couldn't understand when he talked that fast. But she let him keep taking smiling at him as she caught maybe every fifth word.
"Kid you can understand him?" It was Kid Flash who asked her. She looks up at him quickly with a smile before shaking her head. KF laughed a bit before Introducing himself." I'm Kid Flash but you can call me-"
