Voice once again echoed in my mind. I had regained consciousness, but I couldn't see around me. I was in a hot and humid place, and pressure was constantly applied to me, pushing me in one direction.
"Come on, my lady. Push!" I could hear a muffled voice go.
'Oh? Oh god, I didn't know I'll get reincarnated like this!'
It was super uncomfortable knowing and feeling yourself leaving your to-be mother's private area, but who cares. Certainly not me!
That was sarcasm.
I tried distracting myself by cursing the unaccommodating goddess, and finally, after so long, I was let out. The cold air was the first thing I felt as it prickled against my skin, and I cried. Loud and hard.
"It's a boy!!"
"Oh, he's beautiful." A tired voice comments. I feel myself being moved around until I'm still. Getting used to the air, my cries quiet down until they are no longer heard. I look above me, where the tired voice coos at me. I couldn't see, and it was blurry. All I could make out was blue hair and pale skin. And although her voice was hoarse and raspy, I could tell she was quite a character from her tone alone.
Someone knocks on the door, and the door opens with a creak. Footsteps and a voice filled with worry, "Are you alright, love?"
"Yeah, just peachy." I give a short quiet giggle. We've got a sarcastic one here. She and I matched nicely.
"Really?" The person sounded confused, "I was just about to get a doctor to check up on you."
An exaggerated sigh came off the lips of the woman. "What am I going to do with you, Syl? Do I look okay to you? How are you still not used to sarcasm?"
The other didn't reply, and I couldn't see his reaction. Though the woman gives another sigh, "Well, can't say I don't like that dense side of you. Now get me a doctor, you goofball."
"Right!" The person replies, and quick steps follow after.
"Time for you to rest, my lady." Another voice intercedes before I fall asleep.

Five years have passed, and I figured out the world I live in. After discovering the kingdom in which we live is called 'The Evergreen Kingdom', I figured it out. The kingdom that houses all races and promotes equality between races. Also, a kingdom in the otome game called 'Everyone loves me. Why?'.
.....
.......
........Why?
Just Why?
Why did the goddess have to put me in the most ultra cliche game humanity decided to create? And also the indirect reason for my death. Yes, I quit my game after the game got launched. The storyline was super cliche; anyone predicted the plot because they would've seen it in five other games.
It went like this:
The heroine, Emily, was adopted into a duke's household because she looked like their dead daughter. As the only child in the home, she was pampered and given everything she wanted as long as she said the word. When showing her talent for light magic in the church's annual ceremony, she was greatly praised for her talents, beauty, and personality. Going into the Royal Academy for Nobles and the Talented, she meets the capture targets. Capture targets fall head over heels for her, villains and villainesses try to interfere but get killed off or exiled back together, and she ends up with one or all of them—the end.
Tell me you haven't heard this multiple times.
I'm also a character in the game. The original Licht appeared in a few frames and threatened the heroine to go on a date with him after falling in love with her. Frightened by him, the heroine cried off to her harem. Leaving his family and reputation destroyed, eventually leading to him being orphaned and starving. Ridiculous, right?!
Hell no! I'm not going down that path. I'm going to mind my business, and I'm certainly not going to fall in love with some incompetent whiny crybaby. No, thank you!
"Young Master! What are you doing up there?!"
Oops, I got found. I look down to meet the eyes of my personal maid, Celeste. She was nice and all but way too fussy, and she indulged me way too much; even my mom let me do whatever I wanted.
"I'm just taking a nap, Celeste. I'm fine." I yawn, ready for round 2.
"Young Master, get down here! You're going to fall!" Her hands fly everywhere in a desperate search for a way to get me down.
"Is Licht up there again?" My mother's questioning voice causes my eyes to snap open. Instinctively, I sit up straight in her presence. "Kid, you better come down here before I raise my voice."
"Yes ma'am!" As swift as the wind, I'm back on the ground with finger hearts and a pout on my impassive face. "Forgive me?"
"Don't make Celeste worried. Got that?" I salute, "If you need something to keep yourself busy, go with Celeste to the market. We've run out of some veggies."
She hands me a recording crystal and sighs before she turns to leave. "Just like me when I was younger."
