"Is this seriously what couples do these days? Fuck while pregant?" Tim asks.
I get off of Peter.
"No. We werent having sex. Just kissing." I say flatly.
"Hmmm." Tim hums then leaves the room.
I throw a pair of shorts at Peter because I am turned off now. "Go put these on, let's just go to bed." I say, as I turn around to go to my side of the bed.
"Wait." Peter says as he spins me back around.
"The lie that you are my girlfriend. Not a lie anymore ok?" Peter demands.
Holy shit, he really did it. Not in the way I expected, but when you live in a lab your whole life with no experience with asking anyone out, can you blame him?
So, I say, "Not a lie anymore."
I am dating Peter Ballard.

"Well Peter, how the whole dating thing works, is you go in dates. Ever heard that term before?" I ask as I put down his plates of pancakes.
I just spent all morning, saying goodbye to Tim and explaining how dating works and how it's different from friends. It's not exhausting as long as i'm talking to him, so I don't mind.
"No. What do you do on dates?" He asks.
"You go to fun places. Just you and me." I say.
"Fun?" He says, now looking up at me. I stop in my tracks. "Yes, fun." Then I go take a seat next to him.
"Do you know anywhere fun?" I ask him.
"I mean," Peter pauses. "The toy store."
"Oh jesus christ Peter i'm not playing with Barbie dolls on my first date with you." I say,
"Ok." He pauses for a bit. "I saw on the TV. Ar-cad?" He asks.
"Arcade?" I say, correcting his speech.
"Yes. You play games on a screen." He says.
"Yes. That will be fun. Let's go to the arcade."
So, we plan to go to the arcade. We drive to the arcade. We park the car, and walk into the Arcade at around 5pm.
"Omg, look at all the games." Peter says.
"Yes, let's go get tokens so we can play." I say.
We get the tokens and Peter immediately runs over to Pac-man. He is acting like a 5 year old, it's kind of funny.
"Come on," He says at the game, quickly figuring it out.
"You can do this Peter," I say.
Then, he looses. And the whole machine moves.
"Ughh!" He groans out, moving it more.
"Peter, Peter stop moving that right now!" I say, slapping his arm down.
"I'm sorry it's just that fycking ghost!" He groans. I guess someone gets mad when they play games.
"Comeon, let's go to the boxing one. To let out your anger." I say, dragging him by the arm.
"I'll be like rocky, hell yeah." He says.
"You know rocky?" I ask him.
"I watched it when you were in the Coma." Peter tells me.
"Ohhh ok." I say, then finally we're at the game. I put in the token, and it counts down from 10.
"Ok, you see that, you punch it. Ready?" I say.
"Yes." Peter says, then punching it. The number goes right up to 999.
"Is that good?" Peter asks.
Um. It was great!
"Yes. That is awesome," I say, amazed.
"Ok, your turn, after that I want to get to 1000." Peter says.
"Okay." I line up at the line, ready to punch.
"3... 2.. 1.." Peter counts down.
I punch the bag, and the number goes up to 400. I think he's still proud of me because he smiles.
"Good job Beautiful." He says.
Aw. It makes my heart flutter.
"Thanks. Your turn. Try to get to 1000." I say.
He lined up at the line, and punched the bag. The number goes up and up, and reaches 1.1k. As I read it though, the whole machine falls over.
"Oh my god," I say, walking over to pick it up.
"Better than rocky." Peter says, amused.
I realize the arcade isn't a place for Peter if he's going to keep using his powers like this, so I want to try something with him.
I drag him out of the arcade. and tell him, "We're going somewhere else."
"Oh. No fun at the arcade?" He asks.
"Well, I have something that'll be more fun." I say, thinking back to my highschool days.
"Oh, what is it?" Peter asks.
"Weed. You'll see." I say.
I want to get that embarrassing time at the arcade off my mind.
Hey y'all short chapter ik, it's just in learning to type without nails again so once I finish i'll come back and make this chapter longer. also please awnser the question I asked at the beginning of this chapter. is it easier to read when it's a shorter chapter? lmk.
