Y/n's POV

After like two days, I was finally released from the hospital. I had gotten a slight concussion from the fall but other than that, I was fine. I had to be under close observation because of what happened but they needed to find a way to prevent me from having another overdose.

"...so what's gonna happen now?" I asked Ittetsu. "You will be living with me for now and I'm trying to get you therapy" he explained. "I'm not living with my parents anymore?" I asked him. "I'm sorry but we've decided that this is better for you" he said. "That's fucking amazing" I said under my breath.

Ittetsu glanced over at me. We drove over to my house and I packed up everything I needed. I was so used to moving from place to place but this was the first time I was leaving my parents. Yes, they were pretty shitty but they were my shitty parents. Even though I was basically getting neglected, I still wanted to hold onto them. I gathered all of my things and put them in the trunk of Ittetsu's car.

"You have everything?" he asked me.

I nodded my head.

"Listen Y/n, I know things seem like they suck right now but I just want what's best for you. You were at death's door but you survived an overdose and you're in pretty good shape" he explained. "I still can't accept that they just gave me to you" I replied. "It's not as simple as you make it sound, there was some back and forth argument about this decision but it truly is the best for you. You wouldn't be in my care if you parents didn't think it was for the best. You probably don't hear this often but I love you and I know for a fact that they love you more than they say" he went on. "Then why did they leave me?" I asked him. "That's something I can't answer" he replied to me. "Why do you always act like you know everything?" I went off on him. "I'm telling you that I don't know Y/n" he remained calm. "I'm sorry" I apologized to him. "It's okay, I can only imagine how you feel right now" he comforted me.

We got out of his car and went inside his house. Ittetsu showed me where my room would be and I unpacked. Everything was going by so fast. I haven't even seen my parents since we first moved here. Once my packing was done, I laid on my bed and checked my phone. My phone was filled with notifications most of them were from Nishinoya

I put down my phone and broke down in tears.

"Y/n, I'm coming in" I hear Ittetsu open the door. "Why are you crying?" he asked me. "I think I found the most supportive friend" I said to him. "Nishinoya?" he asked me. "How'd you know?" I asked. "He really does care about you" he explained.

Ittetsu's POV

Y/n was a rollercoaster of emotions and I didn't know how to deal with that yet. I decided to give her some space. Y/n was in a state where she lost her parents in a way but she was finding the people who would be there for her whenever. It's crazy to see her mature slowly. She's changed so much from when I first met her up until these past few weeks. She wasn't really true to herself and now Y/n's trying to heal. I then called Nishinoya.

"Hey coach" I heard his voice. "Y/n's back home" I said to him. "Wait really?" he asked me. "Yeah sh-" I heard Nishinoya hang up the phone.

Oh Lord I thought to myself.

Nishinoya Yū

can u text me your address please?

Within five minutes I heard a knock on the door.

"Y/n can you get that for me please" I called out to her. "Okay" she replied to me.

Y/n's POV

I opened the door and I saw Nishinoya and he was out of breath.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him.

He didn't say anything, he just wrapped his arms around me.

"I wanted to see you in person" he said to me. "How'd you know where to find me?" I asked him, still trying to register what was going on. "He had a little help" I heard Ittetsu's voice. "You were in on this?" I asked him. "All I said was that you were home again" he said. "Sure you did" I said.

Third Person POV

"So I just came to give you some food, I thought you'd be tired of hospital food" Nishinoya handed Y/n a bag of food. "Thank you" she said while taking the food. "Well, I'm gonna go" he said. "Can you stay actually" Y/n said. "Oh um sure" he said to her. "I'm going out for a bit" Y/n said to her uncle.

Y/n and Nishinoya talked for a bit outside. It wasn't anything too deep, just about random things and volleyball. Takeda peeked outside and saw Y/n having a conversation with Nishinoya. He was so proud of her. She was finally opening up to people and not responding with three words. Nishinoya really brought out the good in her and soon they would realize that they were meant for each other. It just needed some time.
