Paredolia

You grabbed your bags and left without a trace
Only thing you left is your face
I still see your eyes when I look in the sky
I remember holding your hand and they shake with goodbyes.
My mind still holds our memories
You took with your bags and took the better of me.
The mirror reflects to me of our past
I should've known some things don't last.

HeartBreak
All this time we shared and made
Stabs at my heart as it degrades
Time lost with hysteria
Thinking you'd come back I still have your paraphernalia
My heart aches for you to be near
I've got to face that you're not longer here

Regret
I ask myself for so long
"Where did I go wrong "?
Is this what I get with this girl I met?
Every bottle I drank Cant drown this regret.
Chasing every hangover to help me forget
If my actions had a redo I'd hit reset.

Denial

Can't wrap my head around to what's happening
You're leaving me and it's saddening
Life goes on and you have your day
I still can't believe you're gone and away

Broken promises

Promises in blankets of lies
Left me in confusion and wonders of why's
I sit hear alone with tears in my eyes
I sleep and I cry in your promises of lies

Acceptance

I've come to the fact I can't have you back
You have my heart I still love you but I found a track.
A better road with direction in my life
With new things and a girl or a wife.
I still see ur face and I still see your eyes.
I've finally let go all your all your broken promises and lies
Please let go and don't forget about me
I'm moving on at my own pace with the way of destiny
