" AMOR! SWEETY CAN YOU HEAR ME?! "

Nurse Tori? You're not supposed to be hea- why are we outside? We're in front of the MTowers...

It was on fire.

Nurse Tori! What happened?! Why why is MTowers on fire? Where Is everyone?!

" Hey, hey calm down. It's going to be alright ", nurse Tori said as she pulled me into a hug. She'd been crying and she was carrying something. Why can't I remember how we got here. Every time I try it hurts.

" I- I'll explain later. We need to leave now ", nurse Tori said as she pulled back from her hold on me. I saw blood.

" What did you say amor? "

Nurse Tori...why do you have blood on you? are you hurt? AH! why do I have blood on me?! I'm covered in it. What is happening to me?

Amá...who-who's blood is this? Did I do something bad?

Nurse Tori only looked at me sadly, " come child, I promise ill tell you everything. Do you trust me? "

Yes, of course. You wouldn't let anything bad happen to me, you said so.

" good boy ", she said and rubbed my head, " come."

     When I thought about seeing my first real car it was daytime. I wasn't scared or covered in someone's blood. Nurse Tori said she would take me for a drive one day, I don't think she meant like this either.

" Here hold ", nurse Tori whispered and handed me the bundles from her back. It was the baby. She was sleeping.

" hold her tightly and don't drop her, ill buckle you in ", still speaking in a hushed tone.

Ok, I won't.

" Good boy "

     Nurse Tori sat in front of the car and turned it on. Cars are funny because it doesn't feel like we're moving. Nightless was still on fire as we went along past it. One time 03-0418-04 taught me the word dreadful. He told me that sometimes it means before the sad comes. But sometimes it can be a feeling on its own. As I'm looking at our burning home, I think that's what I feel. Dreadful. Dreadful in both ways.

Nurse Tori, where are we going? can we come back for everyone?

She looked at me through the little mirror in front of the big window, " We're going somewhere a little far from here, love.", she looked even sadder than I've ever seen her.

" I don't think we can come back for a while."

Oh

" I'm so sorry, amor. "

Something in her voice made the dreadful feeling worse. I didn't want to cry but I couldn't stop it. Even though nurse Tori hasn't said so, I know that I did something bad. I can feel it.

After today, nothing would be the same.
