Yurio Pov.

After I won the gold medal at the grand prix final, we had our end of the season bouquet. The pig decided he wanted stay at Saint Petersburg, Russia as a "vacation," but I know it was an excuse to be close to Victor.

I watch him as he runs to us with Makkachin beside him. It was nice to know the pig wasn't going to retire, but I was mad that he was planning to. The Pig ran to Victor who gave him a hug of course. I just smiled at the scene. I mean I didn't like it but knowing he was not going away for a bit was okay. After today I'm leaving tomorrow to go back to Grandpas since I do miss him, and I always go back to Moscow to celebrate New Year's with him. I also plan on taking my cat Potya with me. As we walked, of course Victor was calling me his son, while the pig was just watching us.

"Stop! Messing with me stupid dog lover!"

"But Yurio you're my son. I'm just showing my love," Victor said giving me another hug. I kicked him off me, fixing my jacket.

"Stop calling me that! You aren't my dad!"

"Victor, maybe you should. It's upsetting him," The pig said helping him up. "Let's go get something to eat. You know the place better than I do so maybe you can show me around?" The pig asked.

"Of course, my piggy! Let's go!" Victor said, leading the way holding the pig's hand. Of course, he's blushing. I walked next to Makkachin. That was the only one who didn't give me problems besides the licks. While we were walking my phone rang. I took it out of my pocket just answering it, without looking at the caller. I said what to the caller. It was women asking if I was Yuri Plisetsky. I said yeah and that when the news came to me. As soon as I heard those words, I dropped my phone. Tears came running down my face. The pig looked at me asking what was wrong. He picked up my phone to answer but, I snatched my phone going straight to my place to pack my stuff I needed. I opened my drawer to get my ticket. I can't buy a ticket sooner since planes are already booked. Luckily, I was leaving tomorrow morning anyway. I looked out seeing it was nighttime. I went straight to bed well tried. I went to the airport 5 hours early. I waited and waited. Worried about my gramps. Finally, my plane was called. I got on and I was off to Moscow. It took me 2 hours to get there but I was finally here.

As I walked out of the airport, I called a taxi. I didn't have a ride to get there. I told him the name of the hospital to take me, and he drove. It wasn't long before I threw the money at the driver and ran in. I asked for my grandpa's name. She asked who I was and all. I answered very quickly wanting to see my gramps. She asked where my parents were, and I told her I was alone and I want to see my grandpa now. He was my guardian anyway. She typed on the computer before telling me which room he was in. When I was about to go in, a nurse passed by saying I couldn't come in. I was about to yell why but I looked at my gramps.

"He's going in shock! Call the doctors!" Another nurse was there. The nurse walked in getting the machines that were on the side. I froze. A doctor walked in, closing the door. I sat down next to the room. I tapped my knees clutching my fist. I was mad but scared. My Grandpa had a heart attack, and I wasn't there. He's in the hospital and he could die. They finally walked out and looked at me asking what relationship I have with him. I told her I was his grandson, Yuri. She said he's stable and should be fine for now. For now? She also said his back wasn't helping either but that it was old age talking. After the talk I could go in now. I walked in to see him sleeping. Thank God. I pulled a chair and brought it next to grandpa. I saw some machines connected to him and it made me want to cry but I held it in. I sat there waiting for him to wake up. I didn't want to leave his side. Luckily, I didn't wait long for Grandpa to wake up. I smiled at him.

"Hi Yurochka ..." I can tell he was tired. I held his hand tight, feeling relief.

"Hey Grandpa..." I gave a faint smile. He smiled back. "You, okay?"

"Yes, Yuri I'm fine.... I have to tell you something Yuri." I heard the doors open. I saw 2 men come in. Wait why are they here?

"Yuri Plisetsky. You have to come with us," One of them said.

"Why do I have to?" I yelled pissed not wanting to leave. I don't even know these people. Then I felt Grandpa squeeze my hand. I turn to look at him. He looked at the men.

"I thought I had some time," he said looking at them.

"We got a call that he was here. And that he arrived here." Grandpa bit his lips. He looked at me.

"Grandpa?"

"They're taking you to child services, where they'll help you. I'm going to be here for a while and I... I don't think I'll be out anytime soon, and they discovered I'm your guardian but since I can't provide for you here.... There taking you away to foster care until I'm...... better. I can't stop people from fostering you and I'm sorry. I'll try to get you back. It won't be long."

"What do you mean? No, I don't want to go. Grandpa you can't let them!" I said standing up.

"It's time," The guys said grabbing my other hand.

"I said I ain't going!" I kicked him off me, but the other guy came holding me tight from behind. I twisted and turned. Tears came down my face. "Grandpa!" I yelled.

"Don't hurt him!" Grandpa yelled trying to get up. "Let me have ti- time-," then I hear the beeps. I look to see the machine getting louder.

"Code Blue, Code Blue." The men dragged me out as nurses rushed in. I looked at my grandpa seeing he was in tears.

"Yuri!" That was the last time I heard and saw him.
