A year after Renée and Charlie divorced, Renée took Isabella and Anna to Florida. Charlie became very sad, so he went to the bar where he saw Elizabeth Taylor, a blond girl who moved to La Push/forks, Washington, from Canada. Elizabeth owns the library in La Push, her mother was Canadian, and her father was the king of vampires who lived in Italy. But Elizabeth did not know him, and he didn't know about her, as her mom ran away from Italy. She was pregnant and settled in Barrie, Canada when she found out. Elizabeth moved from Canada to La pushed/forks, Washington when she was 20 and met Charlie. After six months, they married, and three months after that, they had a boy and a girl, whom they named Damon and Emma Swan. Isabella and Anna had not known that they had a stepmother or half-siblings, as Renée had not let them visit Forks or had contacted Charlie, as she was afraid of what would happen if they did.
