Skip time the next day.

I woke up to my alarm, rubbed my eyes, and got ready to go see Jake. I looked in the mirror at my fit.

I went downstairs. I saw Mom and Dad dancing in the kitchen when I got down. Mom then saw me and blushed. Dad just hugged her from behind. I smiled at them and said.

"When are we heading to Billy and Jake's?"

Dad looked at the time and said.

"We are leaving in 20 minutes so please be ready so I do not have to wait for an hour like before."

I just rolled my eyes and scoffed.
