Chapter 12: Zorah Magdaros

As the huge Elder Dragon walked across the land it made mini earthquakes "Volcano on it's back" Gamer thought remembering what the wyverian said to him"We have to get back to base!" Emily shouted Gamer stood there "Run to Astera" Emily told Gamer, he nodded as she and the others flew away on their wingdrakes towards Astera while Gamer ran to it.

It was late afternoon when the Commander agreed to letting Gamer be Emily's mount but under one condition she had to make him stay in check and not attack anyone, Gamer, not paying attention, was staring at a butterfly as it flew by council table, "Now, to the reason I called the council" the Commander said in a booming voice"Emily and Nessie said they spotted Zorah Magdoros," this caused everyone to be some sort of impressed/proud, even the Huntsman "Yes sir," Emily said "It seemed to be heading to the Great Ravine" Nessie explained"At the pace it seems to be going it would take a week" this news made some people sigh "Hey, at least you could prepare." Gamer whispered to Emily "We can at least prepare for it during the week" Emily told the Commander"True." He said "Remember that Anjanath you encountered when you arrived?" Chief asked, Emily remembered it she basically had to jump into the base to stay safe, "Yes," she said "Well, it's agitated and now it's on the hunt, at night the guards report it banging on the gate" he said "So we have to hunt it?" Emily asked, "Yes," Chief said.

Emily spent that night helping the Smithy, or Second Fleet Master, design some gear an old design caught his attention "What's this?" He thought as he approached it he grabbed it and showed it to Smithy and Emily "Hey what's this design?" Emily asked, it was so old that it had dust on it and the Smithy blew on it making the dust go everywhere "Hm, haven't seen these designs before." He said, the said designs featured some sort of warming armor with machalite ore armor pieces scattered around some on the leg, some on the chest, and some on the hood part, they looked to Gamer who nodded.

Emily, who always had an abundant of supplies, had enough macholite and pelt to make the armor, when it was made the Smithy put a saddle on it, "So you don't fall off," he explained, Gamer quickly put on the armor and Emily put the saddle on and tried it out, "Thanks Smithy!" Emily said as she rode Gamer to the canteen to one eat and two register a quest from Nessie.

When she got there she noticed Chip was there probably wanting to get up on the quest, Emily was about to pull the quest list up when the Botanical Researcher ran up with a request "Can you try this out?" He asked "I was thinking of making more for other hunters, but a Tobi Kadachi is in the way of my gathering of supplies, can you maybe, hunt it?" Emily nodded and besides she could use the new gear she had been wearing her leather armor since she had got to the New World and it would be a chance to upgrade her bow which could turn into dual blades if needed.

Nessie put up the Tobi Kadachi quest and Emily accepted it now she, Chip, and Gamer were heading into the Ancient forest.
