Chapter 21: Airborne

As everyone was chatting around when someone came through the window/door of the Research Base I heard them with my sensitive ears "Hey" I said to Emily who was talking to the smithy here about making armor from the Tzitzit ya-ku materials she got from hunting it, "Huh? What's up?" She asked me, then I pointed to the entrance where the airship engineer had arrived.

"Hey, are you Emily?" He asked and Emily nodded "Hm, well Chief told me to talk to you about rigging this place to be an airship." He explained "Well talk to the fleet master. She's up there." Emily told her while pointing to the highest level "Oh, ok thanks." The engineer said and began walking towards where Fall was. "Hey, have you seen Buzz?" I asked Emily "With Hunter on the lowest level." She told me and continued to talk to the young smithy.

When I came down to the lowest level I saw Hunter chugging a healing potion and Buzz drinking some of the potion from a bowl when she noticed me. "Oh hey bro." She said to me "Are you ok?" I asked her "Yeah... just that mist-" "That we now know is effluvium," "Was, well talking to me, ordering me, and whatever it said I did." She explained with Hunter cutting in to tell us the effluvium part, who I turned to, "What happened to you?" I asked him "Well I tried to hunt a Paolumu and well, let's say I had a 'hiccup' again, but we got enough materials to make the balloons to make this thing an airship" He explained and I knew what he meant by hiccup and I overheard Fall and Chief talking about rigging this place so we could explore the Rotten Vale, which had that effluvium stuff, "Ah," I said understangly "But I'm fine" He said and in fact he did look fine except for his face tattoo which made it look like he permanently scarred it, which I think was the point but it was creepy to say the least but it would take a day to get it successfully rigged so to pass the time I asked Hunter to tell us about the hunt.
