"So Mr. Lawrence She can go to white folks school now" My mother asked her boss. You see my mom is a teacher for the white folks here in Alabama. And since we lived kinda close my mom didn't want me to walk 1 hour to get to school.
".......Yes Mrs. Davis she is free to come here until she graduates.....,but I must warn you Ms. Jordan some kids here will not support your presence, so stay out of trouble and stay away from these kids especially Liam Payne" he stated.
"Yes, sir" I smiled. "Mmm, I like her already....God I wish we didn't have segregation" he sighed. My mom thanked him and we walked out the office. As we were walking down the main hallway I saw boys and girls whispering and giving me dirty looks. Then a boy walked up to me.
"Hi I'm Liam, Liam Payne" he smirked. Oh so this is the guy Mr. Lawrence talked about. Well I can say he is pretty cute, he had nice chestnut brown eyes, sandy brown hair, a tattoo, and nice plump pink lips.
"Uh um....I...I'm J...Jordan"
"Aye, no need for stuttering beautiful. I just wanna see if I could show you around at lunch?" He asked. Yes!......wait no, but I really want to. Ugh
"I'm sorry no, but I would love to" and with that said I walked away to my first period.
