Yhel's Note:

This short story has no connection with Accidentally in Love with a Gangster or the X10 series. Certainly, this is a standalone story. Therefore, if you have not read any of my prior works, you are more than welcome to read this one.

The Journey of a Broken Soul is not based entirely on a true story. My experiences have only inspired 10% of the occurrences. This simply motivated me to begin working on it because it reignited my desire to write a new story again after 4 years. Those who have been waiting for updates to my other pending ongoing stories need not worry, as this story will only contain five to six chapters. After its completion, I shall continue to resume on finishing my other pending stories (Warning: Bawal Pa-fall & The Nasty Pretender).

Thank you to Allyza Maureen for coming up with the title for this piece. I've been blown away by the number of creative responses I've received from my Facebook post in which I asked for advice on a title. However, The Journey of a Broken Soul, on the other hand, appears to be the best fit for the story. To this day, I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed ideas.

Again, I'm not attempting to make a chika out of my personal experience. Hence, 90% of the events in this story are fictitious.

As I am writing this, I haven't yet decided how this story will end. So come along with me and Phoebe on this quest of discovery.
