I exited my bedroom with gift in my hands and I slowly walked down the hall as to not drop any.

I walked into the living room and set them all down under the Christmas tree. As I got back up on my feet I turned around just for my eyes to be met with blue ones.

He was looking into my eyes from his spot at the kitchen island. I smiled at him as I walked away. I walked slowly back to my room. Once I got into my room I let it all out.

I started to breath heavily. I sat down on the floor against my door and I tried to catch my breath. I would never tell him or anyone that every time I see him he takes the air right out of my lungs.

Once I was calmed down I left my room again. When I got out into the hall I turned to walk away but then I saw him standing by his door. He had gifts in his hands and he was leaving his room in the direction of the living room.

Once he noticed me he dropped one of the boxes on the floor. I walked over to him and I picked it up off the floor. I then got back up to eye level. I kept it in my hands and then I said...

"Do you need help?" I asked looking into his eyes with a smile.

"Umm... Yea sure." He said then I reached over and took some of the gift in my hands.

We walked in silence to the living room. Once we got there we went up to the tree and placed them underneath.

Once we were done with the gift I looked over at him and smiled. I only now realized how close we were standing.

"T-Thank you for helping me with the gift. I probably would have dropped ten more without your help." He said with a happy smile.

"No problem, I'm always here if you need help with anything." I said back with a smile.

"So a-are you exited for tomorrow?" He asked me with a nervous smile.

"I'm actually really nervous. I'm kinda scared, it's my first Christmas here and I don't know what to expect." I said with a nervous laugh.

"Trust me when I say it will be fine. It will feel odd because someone will go crazy and come out dressed like an elf or Santa but you get used to it." He said to me with a joyful laugh.

"Who's the one that dresses like Santa?" I asked looking into his eyes.

"Tony."

"What!" I laughed and said... "I would never have guessed he would do that." I said as I laughed.

We looked at each other as we laughed together. We looked into each others eyes and then stopped laughing.

"Who does the elf?" I asked so there wasn't anymore silence.

"That would be Sam and Scott, if they're not with their families." He said sadly.
