I look down at the floor, tears ran down my face uncontrollably as my father merciless hit me while my mother quietly giggled behind her hand.

"You stupid Brat! How dare you go against your own parents orders!" father said as he with-drew a dagger out of the sheath rested on his side, before he ran the blade of the dagger against my cheek leaving a trail of blood behind. Before raising the blade and swinging downward hitting my head again and again.

Both of my parents walked out of the room, leaving me with a deep gash running across my eye as bloody tears seeped down my cheek, while I stared blankly at the floor scared of what would happen if I moved from my spot.

(Earlier that Day)

I stood nervously in between my parents as they held tight smiles, while keeping a close eye on me. I was known as one of the town's beauties since a young age and was slowly nearing the marring age in the village. My parents decided they will choose who I would marry, not giving a single care about my preferences.

It's been a couple of hours since my parents started to decline marriage requests, until a young man with a big fortune came over asking for my hand in marriage as he kissed the knuckles on my left hand.
My parents decided the young man would be a worthy husband (only because of his fortune) accepted his proposal of marriage causing the man to smile as he gazed at me, making me flinch and shake my head to each side causing everyone watching to widen their eyes at me then noticing how angry my parents were I stopped and ran away from them all.

~•Present•~

I stared at the terrifying creature in front of as it killed my parents with lifeless eyes because of the earlier beating I received from my parents earlier that evening.
The creature looked at me with hungry eyes before jumping to attack me but stopped mid-jump as the creature noticed how I didn't flinch at all or cry from my parents deaths, as it walked up to me before being beheaded quickly from a new comer in the house.

The mysterious person who just entered looked at me before making his way in front of me and smiling before patting my head, but quickly removed his hand once he realised the lack of emotion in my mint eyes.
He bobbed down in front of me, before he let out a small frown as he pulled me into a hug taking note in my lack of emotion. After a few minutes I felt my eyes close and my head rest against the man's shoulder before completely fading into pitch black.
