Aja the Flygon: A Sonichu Fanfiction

Chapter 2

Doctor "D" (from Super Monkey Ball, created by Sega)

(POV: Jet the Hawk)

Am... am I in a hospital? How'd I wind up here? All I remember is an explosion and getting knocked out of the air...

"Jet, are you ok?" A female voice called out. "A.... Aja?" I mumbled. "Yep!" The voice said. I opened my eyes and saw my love of the moment. "I... what happened to me?" I asked, still in a semi-comatose state.

"An Electric Hedgehog Pokémon knocked you out with some kind of curse beam. I'll go after him now." Aja said, snarling. I stopped her as she was heading out the door. "Don't do it; watch me until I get out first. Then you can go after the guy." I advised her.

Five minutes later, I was fully lucid. The doctor, who I'd later learn was the one who woke me up with an IV needle (and also let Aja in), finally stepped in the room. I got my first glimpse of him. He sure looked like a doctor, but he was a monkey. I'd find out after my lucidity occurred that he was known as Doctor D.

Doctor D shooed Aja out of the room, only to tell me that I broke my wing when I hit the ground from my fell off the airboard. He had no idea who did it, why they did it, or what they did, but he did see burn marks on my feathers. "Maybe you got burned?" He speculated "Ask Aja." I told him. "Aja isn't allowed in here right now; this meeting is strictly confidential." Doctor D scolded. "I bet she knows...." I muttered slyly. "Fine," Doctor D said, reluctantly. "Let her in."

Aja stepped in as soon as the doctor gave his word. "Now, tell me what happened." He said to her. Aja explained everything.

(POV: Aja)

I explained to the monkey doctor:

"Okay, so I was fighting a guy named Sonichu, and..." "SONICHU?!" the doctor interrupted. "You mean the infamous Eclectic Hedgehog Pokémon?" "Electric." I corrected him. "I see. Continue..." Doctor D said. So I did.

"He instigated a fight and aimed an energy beam that was supposed to curse me, but I'm immune to curses, so I aimed it back at him, but it hit Jet instead. I guess the fall was the result of the curse." I continued explaining what Sonichu was, and the reason he was infamous amongst Mobians.

"Fascinating." said Doctor D. "I guess you should go after him. But be careful." "Don't forget to send me a 'get well soon' card!" Jet said as he smirked. "Gosh. I hope to Chaos you're joking." I laughed. Then I left as Doctor D and Jet bade me farewell, saying "I hope you survive!"
