(POV: Aja)
A look of shock hit Alex's face, and then a look of anger. "Give her back." she demanded. "And what am I, your master?" Mai taunted. "I'm obviously Keiko's master now. Nobody will listen to me but her now." "Oh, yeah???" screamed Alex. "Well, I have a Pokémon hybrid who listens to me, and only me, too!" She looked at me with determination. I smiled back at her.
"What can we do to get her back?" I asked Mai, in a feeble attempt to negotiate. Mai only giggled like a schoolgirl, saying, "Battle with Keiko, and if you win, you can have her. Not that it matters, she's a level 80!"
I had a look of contempt on my face, and I stared at Alex as if to say, "Should I tell her?" Alex shook her head no, and said, "Don't tell her you're at a higher level; just fight." I nodded.
"I accept your challenge, Mai Lee." I shouted at our enemy. Alex pointed out onto our battlefield, yelling, "GO! AJA!"
Keiko started to float above me, saying in a commanding voice, "You'll never defeat me." I caught up with her in the air, with a smirk that seemed to say, "Oh, I don't think so."
"Dragon Tail!" Keiko spun around and a burst of energy expelled from her, hitting me instantly. I recovered quickly, and thought of an attack to use.
"Flamethrower!" I shot a fireball with a hard punch to Keiko's jaw.
"Rain Dance!" Keiko lifted her hands up and a cloud hovered over us, drenching me and putting out the fire I inflicted on her.
"Stone Edge!" My boots hit the ground and a pointy rock emerged out and slammed Keiko onto the floor.
"Fury Cutter!" Keiko outstretched her arms and rapidly spun around. Her arms began to emulate the blade in a lawnmower, and she was moving towards me faster than I was able to react, so I had to do something!
"Signal Beam!" I put my fingers to my forehead and a beam shot out. Keiko just stopped, confused and unable to move. It worked!
That's when I noticed the collar around her neck.
"That's it!" I thought. "The collar might be Mai's doing! So now I have to pull a Sonichu and hit Keiko with something she won't ever expect!"
I pulled my hands back to my hips like Sonichu did in our first encounter. I chanted, "Aja Blaster..." Then I launched myself into the air, let's say, about, 40 or so feet high. Then I thrust my arms out. "FIRE!!!!!!"
Keiko screamed in terror, trying to move and get out of the way, but she was still reeling from the effects of my Signal Beam. My new Blaster move knocked her to the ground and rendered her unconscious. Mai bolted away, laughing, "FINE! You can have Keiko, but it'll be tough to get her back to your side!"
