"Fireclan! Attack!" The she-cat's voice rang out loud among Thunderclan's camp. Fireclan's leader stared at Thunderclan's leader, "I thought I could count on you to be my loyal deputy. How could I have been so wrong? So very, very wrong?" The she-cats circled each other, watching the others every move, until they jumped at each other furious, insulting each other and their clans.
Suddenly, Fireclan's leader sprung upon Thunderclan's leader, sinking her teeth into the other cats neck, busting the vain and crushing the windpipe. "Mother!" Thunderclan's leader's daughter shrieked. "Good news!" Fireclan's med cat shouted, "She's still alive, oh, wait, she's dead."
The leader's daughter ran over and looked at her mentor, as her mothers killer walked off, "Dappletail," she stuttered, "why won't she get up?" Dappletail shook his head, the leaders killer was his mother.
Dappletail curled his tail around his mentor, "it's okay, Cheerpaw. I'm sad too."
