Open the rusty window halfway
Just to get the morning breeze circulate
Too cold to breathe in
Hold both of my hands like a prayer
Swollen eyes, wet napkin
Looking out to my distorted visions
I've been awake too long
Need something to fill in the thoughts
Heard the parade on the street today
They held homemade signs uncreatively
Dress in white and black like a funeral
Mourning the death of morality, they said
They chant something along the way
Something about hell and repent
Something about God being mad
Something about hunt and burn
Luckily I don't have to go out today
Get myself warm inside a closet
Watching the big time believer parade
Burning the rainbow like a witch
