The sound of people rambling and laughing reached jungkook's ears as the carriage drove him and the other entertainers to the palace. Jungkook moved his black orbs around to examine the people of the kingdom. Some people were purchasing dresses and groceries or some were eating to their heart's content from local restaurants. Few kids played around and giggled joyfully. Most people seemed well off. Some people were poor but still, they were treated kindly. Everyone seemed happy. However, this wasn't the case for the Kim dynasty through. Because of the marriages of the princes to substantial kingdoms and victories in wars, the Kim dynasty successfully maintained its prosperity. The riches mostly got all the facilities and goods however people of the lower class were not even provided with basic needs. The king tried to change the circumstance, however, the nobles and counsellors of the kingdom never let the king take his own decision freely. If the relationship between the two kingdoms developed then surely the Kim kingdom would be benefited. However, jungkook didn't comprehend why his master wanted to marry off to the princess of this kingdom. Was it for the kingdom's prosperity? But if Jimin married the princess, the kingdom would still get benefitted. Then why? For the first time questions started to arise in his mind. He shrugged off the questions inhabiting his mind and started to focus on his mission again.
Jungkook got off the carriage when they finally attained the palace. Jungkook couldn't help but get mesmerized when he rested his doe eyes on the exterior of the palace. The doors were huge and were made of gold. The golden coloured statues of the swans as well as birds and water gushed from their fake mouths. The sparkling lights twinkled and illuminated the place as the sky turned dark. The place was surely breathtaking.

Things were going pretty smoothly for jungkook. Without any setback, he entered the kingdom and presently he was about to pass into the palace. A grand party will be held tonight. Everyone would be there and he most likely would gain some information about the princess. He only prayed that the universe would keep on favouring him or else he would have to face the sixth prince's wrath.
The palace door opened with a creak and revealed the interior of the palace. The entire place was made of gold. The golden reflecting tiles, the golden statues, the golden stairs.. everything twinkled under the golden chandelier which emitted bright lights that elucidated the hall.

People of the upper class and other kingdoms talked about various things jungkook wasn't aware of. Men and women were dressed in expensive attires and decorated themselves with priceless jewels. Jungkook found none of these enjoyable or exciting. He preferred the simple and joyful moments he had with other entertainers on his way here earlier on. The people strode to the side and let the entertainers scoot to the centre of the hall so that everyone could directly look at them. The entertainers took their positions and started their marvellous show. The dancers swayed their bodies to the rhythm of the music that the musicians played. Jungkook played the flute and harmonized with the other singers. He practised with his fellow companions on the way which made it easier for him to adjust. The show ended and the people around them applauded and complimented them. They then moved away to the corner of the hall and waited for the party to end so that they could attain their money of hard work. The people then started ball dancing and jungkook started to observe the upper class. His attention went to a couple of maids gossiping about the princess. He moved to their side a bit and started eavesdropping.
" do you know princess might get married soon?"
"Yes I heard but...I know one thing about that no one knows..don't tell others about this okay?"
"Ok fine tell"
"When I served the princess for a while a few months ago,she used to complain how she hated being the princess and wanted to go away.. she doesn't want to get married..she is such a nice lady but she doesn't want to get engaged how sad"
"To be honest I miss my lady"
"I miss her too, I m happy she will be coming back"
" as soon as she comes she will get married the king is considering the prince of Kim kingdom"
" oh my, is he the malicious prince taehyung, I heard he tried to kill his brother"
"I don't think so, it's probably jimin, however, the king doesn't care as long as she gets married and the relationship between the two kingdoms gets stronger. My lady, she is such a wonderful person she works hard for the people of the kingdom, after her return from her training she would just get dragged into his world of politics"
"I know- " the made was cut off when a lady approached them and said, " what the hell you are doing, go serve the guests", and maids went away to do their jobs. The lady went to join the party again. Jungkook couldn't believe that he received so much information without him trying so hard. He planned to lure someone to spill the beans but he didn't need to do anything at all. However, the information he got wasn't that credible as he just overheard the gossiping maids. However, he didn't have any other choice but to trust the piece of information he overheard. Final, the the the party ended and the entertainers got paid and he got out with his companions.
The group went to a motel to take a rest and eat with the money they earned. Jungkook sneaked out of the place and got away without telling them. He had no other choice whatsoever. He loved every second he spent with them but his freedom couldn't last forever as he was bound to someone else. He couldn't enter through the main gate so he decided to take the alternate path which he figured out on the map. The way involved, walking through the jungle and climbing over the mountain and crossing the river of crocodiles. He had no other option but to take this route even if it might put his life in danger. Little did he know his entire life would completely change, for either better or worse.
