This is the ending of the story. I hope you enjoy it :)

New Years Eve

"You totally disrupted the plan. We were supposed to stay home for the rest of our little break then get to our tour"

I rolled my eyes before I looked up at Kimberley trying to pout as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"But it's so cold back home. Why not ring in the New Year in a warmer climate" I smiled up at her.

"You always win. You always get what you want" Kimberley leaned down to kiss my forehead.

"How would life be if it wasn't like that?" I smiled.

Kimberley rolled her eyes again as I started laughing.

"Ah Kimberley the year is coming to an end" I put my hands on her cheeks so I could look at her olive shaded green eyes look down at me and her plump pink lips curl into a smile.

"Yeah what a rough one" Kimberley huffed.

"Indeed. It was like a book with a very interesting plot with peaks and valleys"

"Peaks and valleys?" Kimberley smiled.

"Peaks are when we hit the high points and valleys when we hit the low points and boy did we have a lot of those"

"Boy we did" Kimberley nodded in agreement before we started laughing.

Kimberley put her fingers on my nose and pinched it making me laugh like a little kid again.

"Cheryl, I really love you" Kimberley muttered.

"I know you do because I really love myself too"

I looked up at the frown that creeped on her face and listened to the sigh creep through her teeth.

"I won't say I didn't deserve that because I always do that to you"

"Exactly" I smirked.

"Say it back"

"I love you too Kimba. Forever and Always"

I followed her eyes as they darted down to my finger with my gold wedding band on it.

I sat up to give her what I wanted to be a longer kiss where the last thing she would taste is the trace of my lips but Sarah disrupted all of that.

"Ah. The people who call each other verbs are laying around"

We both looked up at Sarah standing in the doorway of my bedroom. So pleasant.

"We don't call each other verbs" I tried to object to her argument but it was all a lie.

"Push means to like... push something. Do you know how ridiculous you two sound saying that?

"Sarah" Kimberley muttered. "Shush"

"You can push someone but I don't think you can be a push" Sarah mouthed rolling her eyes. "You two always coming up with some absurd thing.

"Sarah shush" I repeated after Kimberley before Sarah fiercely rolled her eyes.

"Just get up and help decorate while the girls are asleep. You know it's super duper hard for Ava to stay asleep" Sarah raised her eyebrows and we pretended to get off my bed to walk to my living room.

But when Sarah turned her back, closed the door and locked it before I jumped back on the bed with my wife.

"Has the year been more shaky for me or you?" I said poking Kimberley in her chest.
